Once Keith returned with his lion and the team formed Voltron, they were able to defeat the Galra fleet fighting them and help the Taujuurians out of their burning planet. The Red lion didn't run away like Coran originally said, but instead went after Keith sensing he was in danger, proving once again that Pidge was right. Zarkon was tracking us through his connection with the Black lion.
And now, I wasn't the one standing alone with everyone's arms crossed and eyes on me. Instead, it was Allura who had to stand with her hands clasped together, begging for forgiveness as she explained herself.
"I'm so sorry for leaving." She said.
"Me too." Keith added, "We thought we were doing the right thing."
"Well, you were wrong. Ow!" I gasped, Pidge had elbowed me again. What is with him?!
"You were correct, Shiro." Allura continued as if she hadn't heard me, "We are always stronger together."
"At least we learned that Zarkon isn't tracking us through you two." Lance began.
"Plus I learned that my lion can grow armour and extend its claws like that!" Hunk roared like a tabby cat, and then clawed his hands in a poor demonstration, "Which would come in handy if we ever needed to, you know, slice up a giant steak while fighting."
Seriously.
"Or... fight evil and save innocent people. That too. That would work."
Good god. "I'm going to bed." I yawned, "See ya."
Pidge perked up, "I'm gonna stay up a little longer and look over some statistics. See you guys tomorrow!"
"Sure thing!" Hunk waved as we walked out, "We should all have breakfast together tomorrow!"
"Okay!" Pidge waved one last time, following me out the door. Lance and Keith went their own way and Hunk made a beeline for the kitchen. They'd completed their mission and knew what to do next. Zarkon wasn't tracking us through Allura or Keith, and definitely not through me, so Allura couldn't be suspicious of me for that now either.
This is a pretty good day.
"Hey, Vrokta?"
I stopped short, hesitating. I didn't realize he was still right behind me, "Yeah?"
Pidge rubbed the back of his neck, "Did you have a different name on Earth?"
I froze.
"You know," He continued, "Like, since, Vrokta is obviously not a human name. It'd be super weird if you had that growing up, especially if you were in school. Or- were you homeschooled?"
"No." I blurted, and then immediately regretted it.
"So, did you always look Galra? Or did you like, grow into the ears, and the face markings, or-"
"Pidge?" I quickly interrupted, "I don't wanna talk about it, okay?"
"Oh. Right. Sorry, I didn't mean to cross a line."
I took a breath, cooling myself down and forcing myself to keep on walking to my room, "It's not that big of a deal. Good night, Pidge."
He didn't reply.

The next morning, after we'd all eaten breakfast together as Hunk insisted, we met in the control room to discuss the day ahead. Shiro decided he needed to attempt to make a new, stronger bond with his lion to weed out Zarkon's connection to it, so he couldn't find him anymore. Coran, on the other hand, was much more pumped up to find new Teludav lenses.
"Does anyone even make those anymore?" Keith asked.
"I don't know." Allura replied, "Only a few Altean's could use the Teludav 10,000 years ago. They may not exist anymore."
Coran pulled on his moustache, "I think I may know where to find them."
"You're not suggesting going to one of those filthy swap-moons?" Allura asked, scowling, "The last time you went those space pirates took you for everything you had!"
Swap moons? Space pirates??
"The Unilu were traders and pirates that roamed the galaxy and dealt in black market goods." Coran explained.
"Well, while Coran is looking for his lenses, I'll take you shopping for something sparkly." Lance commented, smirking as he leaned in towards Allura.
"This isn't shopping!" Coran barked, shoving Lance away, "You're not wandering around saying 'oh! What a lovely pink hat!' No! I can't allow Allura to go anywhere near those filthy, low balling, Unilu hoodlums."
I lowered my head slightly, putting my hands to my chin in thought. Something seemed off. Black market... space pirates... swap moons... is he talking about what the space mall used to be? I had to stop there once with Krigi, and she told me it used to be a shit hole, but they cleaned it up and now it's an untouched safe zone.
Coran quickly told Allura she had to stay behind, and Lance ran off yelling shot gun. Hunk quickly went after him, and Pidge went to go too, until he stopped to glance back at me.
"You coming?" He asked.
I glanced down at him. God. Why was he looking up at me like that? With those- stupid, wide eyes? Glowing honey brown. Ugh.
"Yeah... I guess."
