Hunter sat next to Willow as she informed him about a plant she had just grown, specifically a 'forget-me-not', a small blue flower.

He loved hearing her voice, seeing the spark in her eyes when she talked about something she loved, her smile.

He sighed contentedly, he was happy to just listen.

But of course he wasn't fully content. He didn't just want to be friends with Willow, he wanted to be her boyfriend. Willow couldn't feel the same way though, right?

"...and they say the name is inspired by when a knight fell in a river after picking some of the flowers for his lady, he yelled 'forget me not' and drowned. Cheerful isn't it?" Willow rambled.

"Very." Hunter said sarcastically, causing them both to burst into giggles.

Then Hunter stopped. He heard a strange noise, it was faint, but was growing louder and louder.

Music.

Specifically a song from a movie they had watched a few days prior.

The Little Mermaid.

CRAP.

Gus entered the room carrying a large box blasting music.

SHA-LA-LA-LA-LA
MY OH MY
LOOK LIKE THE BOY TOO SHY
AIN'T GONNA KISS THE GIRL
SHA-LA-LA-LA-LA
AIN'T THAT SAD?
AIN'T IT A SHAME?
TOO BAD, HE GONNA MISS THE GIRL

Hunter immediately pulled an Amity, his face turning completely red.

He didn't notice, but Willow blushed too, fidgeting with her braids.

SHA-LA-LA-LA-LA
DON'T BE SCARED
YOU GOT THE MOOD PREPARED
GO ON AND KISS THE GIRL
SHA-LA-LA-LA-LA
DON'T STOP NOW
DON'T TRY TO HIDE IT HOW
YOU WANT TO KISS THE GIRL

"GUS!" Hunter shouted over the music. "STOP IT PLEASE!"

He stormed over and switched the music-playing box off.

"GUS! WHY THE HECK WOULD YOU DO THAT?"

"You needed the push." Gus said honestly.

"WILLOW CAN'T LIKE ME MORE THAN A FRIEND! I CAN'T RISK ASKING HER OUT, THAT COULD RUIN OUR FRIENDSHIP! I'M NOT CONFESSING NOW!"

"Dude, you just kinda did."

"Wha-oh crap."

In his frantic rushing to stop whatever the heck Gus was doing, Hunter had completely forgotten about Willow, who still sat on the couch, blushing aggressively.

"I'll leave you to it!" Gus said, shooting finger guns at the two before walking quickly out of the room.

"Did...did you mean it? Tha-that you like me?" Willow stuttered.

"I-I-I-yes." Hunter sighed in defeat. "IT's totally okay if you don't like me back but I-"

"Hunter!" Willow said. "I-I like you too."
