8 - Disney's Sweet Voice

"Ruby, please, calm down," Rift pleaded. "These people didn't even know you existed until recently! If they knew, surely they would have helped you!"

"You're all at fault, that's the end of this conversation!" Ruby declared, transforming into the form of a large pink monster. Her tentacles grew larger, her eyes glowing an ominous red.

"Hey, hey, don't make us fight each other!" Doctor Disney shouted.

"You will regret what you did to Shmoolee!" Ruby growled, raising her arms high above her head. "I'll rip you limb from limb!"

"Here we go again..." Rift sighed, clenching his fists.

"Come on, Rift!" Belle called. "Let's take her down together!"

"Don't forget about me!" Doctor Disney added.

"All right, let's do this," Rift agreed. "Take Ruby down..."

The three of them charged towards Ruby, closing in on her in a straight line.

"Hah, I told you not to underestimate me!" Ruby yelled as she threw a punch at Rift.

He was instantly hit, being thrown to the floor. Disney Duchess flew towards the pink monster in her Iron Man inspired armour, shooting beams from her hands towards the creature. Meanwhile, Doctor Disney tried to locate a weapon. He wasn't powered, so he needed something!

Then, he found one. A machine in a glass case, that looked like it was used for storing weapons. As soon as he grabbed it, his eyes glowed gold, and he fired a blast of light from the device.

"Whoa!" Ruby cried out. "That's some powerful magic!"

"Magic?" Doctor Disney asked. "This is science! Seems I left this here when I showed this to Belle a few weeks ago!"

The blasts hit the villain, causing minor damage to her pink skin. Meanwhile, Rift just watched. He could just use his telekinesis with his daggers, but he felt frozen for some reason.

"My turn!" Ruby suddenly yelled. "I'll crush you all!"

She screamed and charged towards the three heroes. They were a little more prepared this time, though, and blocked the attack. Ruby, however, kept going. She punched through their defences, rushing past both Disneys and towards Rift. Colliding into him, the robotic man would be thrown to the ground

"Ow!" Rift yelped.

"You're all going to die!" Ruby shouted, slamming into Rift with her fist.

He raised his hand, to stop the blow. But there was no stopping it, and he was sent flying back against the wall. There was a loud crash, and Rift smacked into the wall hard enough to leave a dent.

"Stay down!" Ruby ordered. "Or else!"

Rift stayed on the ground, keeping perfectly still.

"There!" Ruby glared at the others. "Now you're all going to pay! For Shmoolee!"

As Ruby stood up, Rift saw her gaze shift towards Doctor Disney. She turned around, glaring at the doctor.

"What?!" The scientist exclaimed, confused by Rift's sudden cowardice. "Get up, what are you doing!?"

"I'm staying down, because I don't want to get pulverized!" Rift replied, groaning in pain.

Rolling his eyes, he'd gasp as he spotted Ruby charging towards him. She went for the attack, but it seemed Disney Duchess jumped to the doctor's rescue. Her beam blasted Ruby in the face, knocking her off balance.

"Ngh!" Ruby grunted, dropping to the floor.

"Awww..." Rift smiled. "That hurt, Ruby?"

"Enough of your games already!" Doctor Disney snapped. "You've caused enough trouble! You're finished here! I've got to plan for Christmas!"
