Chapter 5

Second Chance

" Gukkie : Appppaaa.... ! A boy named Jihyun pushed me into the sand... "

With the continuous hiccupping Gukkie is complaining about how awful his day turned out at his school!

" Gukkie : He stole my lunch box and even made me fun infant of my fuwwnts!"

He continued the story and ended up crying very louder !

Time like this, always make Tae feel like he's the worst Appa to him, especially when he can't even take him to school on his first day! And to acknowledge that he's more mature than other kids at his age, makes Tae feel responsible for his emotion as well!

" Tae : Gukkie, baby! It's okay! He might only want to be your friend and want to taste your lunch! "

Tae attempted to give a good reason for his situation! Usually, Gukkie never complains if anything happens to him, but here he was wailing as a big disaster happened to him with his friends at school , and he need to find a good excuse for Gukkie to be good again! He is always so sweet , and Tae want everyone to see that, including all his friends!

" Tae : If he wants your lunch then share with him, baby! Appa will pack you extra lunch for tomorrow! Is that okay for you? "

Tae wiped Gukkie's face with his hand and tried to light his mood!

But Gukkie pouted his lips and shook his head!

" Gukkie : No, Appa ! I don't like him! He even called me Ugly! "

Gukkie still insisted on his complaint about this friend of his! Sometimes, Tae feel Gukkie is as stubborn as his father, and dealing with his emotion is hard as dealing with Jungkook when he was in his stubborn mode!

For a while Tae was a bit lost in throught, he failed to notice the fresh drop of tears rolling down through Gukkie's cheeks and it broke Tae's heart to see him like this! Tae sighed and kneeled on his level and wiped his tears away with his finger  and landed a kiss on his forehead before giving Gukkie another explanation in an attempt to make him feel better!

" Tae : Gukkie, baby! You are the angel! If he called you ugly that doesn't mean you are ugly, you're never an ugly baby! How many times do i need to remind you that you are my little prince? You will never be Ugly even if you try so hard! "

Tae pinched his chubby cheeks and gave him his bright smile! Like a grown Man, he managed to give Tae a tight smile buy he backed away pouting his lips once again!

This, only brought Tae's smile brighter, cause sometimes Gukkie's just too adorable when he's pouting this way! He can't help himself to give him another kiss on his nose and Tae know Gukkie will complain about this!

True to his work , Gukkie gives more pout to his lips over a silly matter And how he is behaving the same way as folding his tiny arms against his chest, he looked away from Tae! Tae know this gesture, he thinks Tae made a joke of his situation that made Tae let out another long sigh! Gukkie's eyes became moistened one more time and this time, Tae will take this situation more seriously! Grabbing Gukkie's little hand Tae made him sit on his lap and stroked his smooth brown hair while giving him another kiss on his forehead!

" Tae : It's okay, baby! Everything will be fine! I will give you a call and talk to your teacher tomorrow! Is that okay? "

Tae asked him to give his reassurance of his situation! As a response, he nodded his head and laid his head on Tae's chest!

" Gukkie : Okay, Appa! He was just mean to me! "

He mumbled his words! Eventually, peace occupied their heart and they both stayed in that  position for a moment with Gukkie still burying his face on Tae's chest!
