Tae felt a smooth feather-like touch on his head caressing his hair so affectionately and passionately. He leaned forward for his touch and a smile crept on his face.

' Tae pov : He is the cure for my pain. '

Tae wrapped his hand around his small waist and drew him closer to his.

" Gukkie : Appa, you are awake? "

He giggled in his sweet angelic voice.

" Tae : No , Appa wants to sleep more. "

Tae said in his husky voice and buried his face deep into the pillow.

" Gukkie : No... You were asleep for an hour now wake up... "

He shrieked in his high-pitched tone.

" Tae : Gukkie.... "

Tae whined like a child covering both his ears with his pillow.

" Gukkie : Now be a good boy and wake up. "

He climbed out of the bed and stood beside Tae putting his hands on his hips, narrowing his eyes on Tae. It reminds Tae of his mom. She used to wake him up when he was a kid, too lazy to drag his lazy ass out.

' Tae pov : Not again. '

Tae shook his head to get tid of those memories and sat on the bed with the slumped shoulder.

" Gukkie : Hurry up..... Gukkie is hungry!"

He squealed.

Tae glanced at the wall clock and it showed past eight in the evening.

' Tae pov : Ohh my bad. He must be hungry. '

" Tae : Sorry , Baby . Appa will cook fried rice for you. "

" Gukkie : Yeah... Yeah... "

He jumped up and down and gave Tae a toothless smile.

Tae dragged his lazy ass to the bathroom to get fresh up before making his way towards the kitchen. He let out a sigh of relief when he finished cooking on time. He set the bowl of rice, vegetables, fruit salad, and chicken on the table and called Gukkie to eat.

" Gukkie : I'm coming.... "

He heard his voice from the playroom. After that, they both enjoyed their dinner and Tae dragged him to the bathroom to give him a warm bath.

Sometimes Gukkie acts weird when it comes to bathing especially in the winter season. Tae can't blame Gukkie he gets form him.

In the end, Tae too ended up having a warm bath cause this little devil splashed water all over him while Tae was trying to bathe him. After changing him into the pajamas, they are ready to go sleep.

" Gukkie : Appa, i don't wanna get sleep. Shall we watch Tom & Jerry? "

He asked rubbing his eyes and letting out a soft yawn.

" Tae : Maybe tomorrow.... "

" Gukkie : Come on Appa, At least do this time. You are always restricting me. "

He jumped out of Tae's lap and stood up with all his might.

' Tae pov : Ohh.... God! Kids are unpredictable. A minute ago, he was in a sleeping mode and now he is a volcano ready to erupt anytime soon. '

" Tae : Okay.... Okay.... But only for an hour. "

Tae raised both his hands as surrender and his brows as a question.
