Episode 46

Second chance

Tae jerked from the couch where he fell asleep without his knowledge and the book, he was holding in his hand landed on the floor three feet away from him. For a second everything went blank.

The heartbeat in his rib cage-raised heavily as it has attended the 10 km marathon.

' Tae pov : Oh god!!! It was horrible dream that i never had in my entire life neither did i wish. How awful that is!! '

Tae stared at the floor with so much emotion flooding  through his heart where Jungkook has laid in the pool of his blood in his dream.

It felt real. Tae wiped the sweat on his forehead using the hem of his shirt and walked towards the kitchen to get a glass of water to let a glass of water to let go of his anxiety.

He took the water bottle from the fridge and gulped down large amount of water in one shot.

' Tae pov : Why did i have that horrible dream? I didn't hate him that much, yet he came into my dream, and... I can't even imagine this. What would i do if it happened in reality? No, shut up Taehyung. '

Tae scolded his inner mind.

Through it was a dream it sends a shiver down Tae's spine making his body feel weak, it likes someone poured him a box of ice cubes through his head.

' i think you are thinking about him a lot these day's '

His subconscious mind replied to his unasked question.

' Tae pov : Yeah maybe. '

Tae closed the fridge and walked to the living room and sat on the couch where he was seated before. The book is still lying on the floor as a recollection of that incident over and over again.

Unknowingly tears are polling down through his cheeks and he feel the pain in his chest as someone crushing his heart frequently. Jungkook has this syndrome.

Tae's heart couldn't take this even it was his first time, then how could Jungkook have faced his nightmare. How many times has he had these kinds of horrible dreams? The question brought goosebumps to his stomach.

He still remember the day when Jungkook woke up in the middle of the night screaming and calling Tae's names the day after Tae's parents knocked him out of their home. jungkook thought Tae left him completely like he left his parents.

Tae was there with him to give him comfort what he needed saying he's here. He hugged Tae tightly and cried until he fell asleep in Tae's arms.

But now, He's not with Jungkook and it must have had given him a hard time. Despite his being good at hiding his anxiety, Tae could read clearly on Jk's face every morning when he meet him in the office.

Every day Jungkook seems nervous until he saw Taehyung then he went back to his ordinary life masking his face as anger.

There was a day when Jungkook has fired lots of employees just because of a silly mistake and even cancelled the contract of a big project that was worth a million with their clients.

These all happened the day Tae was on leave.

Jungkook's one blind revenge spoiled their future, but he has changed and trying to amend the mistake for the sake of their kids even through he can't change the past.

However, what Tae's doing? What are the steps he's taking to bring their relationship to the next stage?

Gukkie needs Jungkook as his dad, Tae's unborn baby needs him as his/her dad, and Tae...? He too need Jungkook in his life. He is his love whether his mind accepts or not.
