Episode 37

SECOND CHANCE

Jk have been waiting for a long time thinking about when the doctor will come out of Gukkie's room. It has been one hour since he entered his room to perform the body checkups.

' Jk pov : Oh, God!!! Why does it take him a long time? I'm not a saint who has all the composure running in his system. '

Losing all his patience he's started to tap his feet on the floor continuously, it seems every second passed like ages.

His eyes are burning with sensation by the desire of getting some sleep, on the other side, his stomach is grumbling louder begging for food. But they both have no idea what's going on here except his heart which creates a loud thud for every second, longing to hear the good news of his boys well being.

He rubbed his eyes to let go of his sleep and leaned on the wall. Folding his hand across his chest he's started to think of Gukkie and Tae, his little bunny and his love, who were lying on the bed for the past one day to the process of eating him alive.

All the tears in his eyes were dried and he have no energy left in his body to make any noise. He can't even feel his throat ; it likes he had drunk the whole molten gold and it has stuck inside his throat.

The tickling sound of the giant wall clock gave hi. A mini heart attack whenever the needle passed the number. It's not just counting the time, instead, counting his baby's life too.

The timeline for Gukkie has left only 20 hours to get up or else he would fall into a coma or face a dreadful de.. No, he is fighter , he will come back.

" Jk : Doctor, how's my baby? Is any improvement? "

Jk asked the doctor once he came out od his baby's room after finishing his final check-up.

" Dr : I'm sorry. I don't think he will make it? "

He shook his head.

Jk shrugged to breathe. It likes someone had cut the whole oxygen supply from his body.

" Jk : What do you mean? "

He barley whispered.

" Dr : It all depends upon to himself. If he wants to live he could cross this misery. "

Dr patted his shoulder; he can read the defeat in His face.

" Jk : Can i see him? "

He asked hoping he will say yes. Dr was hesitant at first then slightly nodded his head giving him the approval to visit his child.

The nurse gave him a green color coat and a mask to change before allowing him to enter the ICU ward. He clutched  the doorknob and to assured himself.

" Jk : You can do this. "

He inhaled deeply and turned the doorknob.

The beeping sound of his baby's heavy heartbeat got his attention when he entered his room. Various types of machines were hooked into Gukkie's body monitoring his every movement. He's not familiar with this stuff, he had never been in thus situation before.

Gukkie was breathing with the help of an oxygen mask that was given to him and a giant bandage was wrapped around his head where Jk could able to see faint bloodstain. He was scared at first to touch Gukkie  thinking what if he crush him.

" Jk : Hey! Baby!!! "

He whispered combing Gukkie's hair full of affection and love. He didn't think of it before that he could have these kinds of feelings inside him, especially towards this little bunny.
