Chapter 7

Second Chance

Right after the meeting, everyone has been told by the host to go to the hall where the lunch is being severed! Tae headed to his office to relax and he just sat in his chair and slumped his shoulder!

His mind wanders to the way Jungkook looked at him a moment ago! He can't deny that the way he sent the message to him made Tae's worries rise!

" Tae : You have to be strong Taehyung! You can't hurt yourself now, not physically nor mentally! Don't allow him to rule your world again, no more hiding and afraid of him! "

Tae said to himself and repeated it like a mantra to make himself stronger!

" Yeonjun : Hey, you there! I'm looking for you everywhere! "

Yeonjun's voice snapped Tae out of Tae reverie! He peeked his face at his door and gave  a worried look once he saw his uncomfortable face!

" Tae : Hi, Yeonjun! Are you not joining the lunch? "

Tae gave him a tight smile and tried to make the conversation neutral! Guess he already has another thing in his mind, cause he just kept his hands on his hips and stared at Tae deeply like Tae had committed some unforgettable sin!

" Yeonjun : Tell me what happened, Taehyung!  You are hiding something! Is it only Stomachache which bugging you since the boss showed up? "

He asked and took a seat in front of Tae!

" Yeonjun : Hey, you okay? Is the Stomachache really serious? "

His voice turned into a concern once je noticed Tae's sweating and pale face! His body was sweating profusely and his heart was thundering heavily against his chest, and Tae believe he lost the color of his face as his worries took over his emotion this time!

" Tae : I'm fine, Yeonjun! My stomach is feeling better now; just worried about Gulkie! He said a boy was giving him trouble yesterday and i can't stop myself from worrying that's all! "

Tae lied but yeonjun was not convinced at all!

" Yeonjun : i know there's more into it, but i won't push you, Taehyung! Just remember, I'm here if you need someone to share, and my shoulders are always ready for rent! "

He teased Tae and this made him smile! He's a sweet person, Tae's really lucky to meet him and have him in the same company!

Or else Tae must have felt lonely!

" Yeonjun : Anyway, let's go! "

Suddenly he grabbed Tae's hand and dragged him out of his office!

" Tae : Yeonjun! Where are you taking me? "

Tae asked sounded more confusing!

He stopped for a minute and eyed Tae up and down!

" Yeonjun : Taehyung, i know you haven't had anything yet, and your body needs some delicious meal now! As a good friend of yours, i will make you eat and make sure you're healthy enough to worry about Gukkie or anything else! Let's go to the hall and eat something! The foods are amazing ; I've seen the variants of the menu before hunting you down to your office! "

His face lit up by the mention of food!

" Tae pov : Oh! no! Not there! I need to prepare myself before meeting Jungkook in non-formal conditions, only God knows what he planed in his evil mind! But it's too late to tell him no and the next thing i know, we already entered the hall where the variety of the food is being served! "
