Episode 32

𝚂𝚎𝚌𝚘𝚗𝚍 𝙲𝚑𝚊𝚗𝚌𝚎

Not having enough mood to touch the food, Tae looked through the window to let his mind wander around somewhere, but his mind brought last night memories of them which are mercilessly haunting him now and then.

' Tae pov : Did it happen? Or is it my hallucinations? But it felt real. '

A single tear rolled down his cheeks.

' Tae pov :  It shouldn't have happen. How did i end up in this mess? Why the fuck my legs carry me to unknown place and why the fuck did i decided to drink? Why? Why? Why? '

Lot's of questions popped onto his mind leaving Tae no answer and a pounding headache.

On the other hand, Gukkie is still angry with him. He didn't utter ant words since Tae returned to their apartment Early in the morning. Gukkie was so upset when Tae didn't return as he promised.

Tae fed Gukkie breakfast and he went to play with other kids. Miss jaden informed Tae that Gukkie had been crying for the night asking for his Appa before he fell asleep and Tae feel sorry for both of them.

Tae knocked on neighbors apartment door and patiently waited for her to open the door. Tae could hear the giggles and laughter from the living room which automatically brought a smile to Tae's face.

" Mrs Lee : Mr kim , please come inside. ''

She greeted Tae inside with a warm hug. She is always so sweet and caring, and Tae never bothered to allow Gukkie to play with his son Haru.

Haru is a year older than Gukkie and the two are going to the same school which helps their friendship grow stronger. He is taking care of Gukkie as his little brother.

" Tae : Thank you Mrs Lee. "

Tae returned her a warm hug.

" Tae : I'm here to get Gukkie. "

Tae said scratching the back of his head feeling bothered to start the conversation.

" Mrs Lee : Come on Tae, you don't need to ask... "

She playfully hit Tae's shoulder and went inside. Tae stood outside of her apartment until Gukkie come with a frown on his little face. He acts way too far from his age.

" Gukkie : Are you going somewhere? "

Was his first question and Tae let out a defeated sigh shaking his head back and forth.

" Tae : Ahhh... Appa wants to talk to you. Are you free now? "

Tae asked making a puppy face.

Gukkie folded his arms and pretended like thinking for a second before shaking his head up and down giving Tae a clue as ' yes '.

Tae smiled and scooped Gukkie in his arms but Gukkie is not bothered to out his tiny hands around Tae's neck.

" Tae : Seem someone is angry with his Appa. "

Tae teased but no response, so Tae gave up and walked into their apartment.

Once they entered, Tae locked the door and put Gukkie down to stand for himself.

" Gukkie : I don't need any of your explanation. First, you lied and you never bothered to check me out, at least whether i have eaten or not? "

He threw all of his anger.

" Gukkie : You are the same as a Dad. I thought you love me but... but.... "

Tears are running through his cheeks which made Tae's heart clench with pain.
