Morning came by but Chizuke didn't get the chance to sleep after the nightmare. The six of them were now waiting in front of the sealed door, the timer showing that there was 1 minute left before they could leave the room.
When the door opened, Gon was the first one to run out of the room excitedly. The next hours of going through the Trick Tower were just some obstacle parkour which the six of them went through easily.
"I'm covered in dust!" Leorio whined as they reached the final obstacle to finally get out of the tower.
There was a sign on the door that told the group that they had to vote again to open the door to which Leorio said as a funny joke, "What kind of question is this? Of course, we want to open the goddamn door!"
Chizuke pressed the button on her arm but totally missed when she wanted to click on it, instead, she pressed the X button, 'Oh... well...'
All of them press the buttons on the watch to cast a vote and once again, the result came with one person picking X - saying that they don't want to open the door. An irk mark appeared on Leorio's forehead as he grabbed Tonpa's collar.
"Why you!!" Leorio shouts, bringing his fist up while Tonpa denies the accusation, "It's not me this time!! I pressed O!!"
"Yeah stop lying already!!"
Chizuke sweatdropped, wondering if she should stop the two men from fighting again, "Uh- sorry, it was me who pressed the X button, it was an accident!!"
Killua hides a small smile from his face when he sees Chizuke raising her hand with that awkward and guilty face, "You dumb fox. This is lame, I'm moving on."
The door opened and it led the group to somewhere else, it was pretty normal until they stumbled across a room that had a statue lady in there when things turned more serious.
"Please select a path. There are two available options to choose from. The long and difficult path, which the entire group can take, or the short and easy path, which will be limited to the four of you." The examiner spoke from behind the speakers.
Chizuke looked around, her eyebrows furrowing, 'Things are about to get serious... This will be interesting...'
"Incidentally if you pick the long and difficult path it will take 42 hours to complete, while the short and easy path will lead you directly to the goal in three minutes." He continued.
"Press O for the long path and difficult path, or X for the short and easy path. If X is selected, then two applicants must be chained to the wall before the door will open. Those applicants will not be able to move until the time limit has expired." He ended his speech.
