The sound of the waves,smell of the fresh air and the sand under her were soothing as she leaned back on her palms closing her eyes soaking in sun as the water touching her feet was relaxing.
The sound of foot steps woke her up making her turn around to see a man walking towards her but couldn't pinpoint his facial features due to the sunbehind him.
She stood up slowly walking towards him meanwhile he extended his hand forward for her to hold. She smiled and tried to reach his palm gently saying "I was waiting for you....".
Ring.... Ring.... Ring....
Siva groaned and extended her hand aside reaching for her mobile on the side table, swiping the screen which turned off the alarm and tried to fall asleep to dream of her dream boy smiling as she felt the sun and the wav-
Knock.... Knock.... Knock....
"Ugh" Siva groaned and put a pillow on top of her head when she heard her best friend from the other side of the door.
"Siva....Siva...wake up sleepy head or you'll be late for the show" Gaurika reminded her continuously knocking on the door.
Siva widened her eyes sitting up and looked at the time to see it's already eight.Cursing she immediately rushed towards the bathroom shutting the door loudly making Gaurika shake her head at her friend's lack of time sense before going to the small kitchen in their two bedroom apartment.

After her morning routine Siva took her sling bag from the hook behind her room's door and rushed into the small living room to see Gaurika having breakfast and handed her the box knowing her skipping breakfast which made Siva give a flying kiss to her best friend before taking the scooty keys from the cabinet and rushed towards the lift.

She parked her two wheeler in the parking lot at the radio station and immediately rushed inside and skated inside as the door was about to close to the broadcasting room startling RJ Vishal as she threw her bag on the table and sat on the chair pushing Vishal aside and put on the headphones.
She took a deep breath closing her eyes for a few seconds before smiling and opened her eyes tapping the microphone twice speaking into it "Hi! Namaste!Aadaab! I'm Siva and today I'm back with the new and exciting chatter- batter".
Her manager along with a few technicians were watching her from the glass window as she spoke her daily lines while the manager asked "She's late again? Does she even know what she's gonna talk today?"
The technicians shook their heads and hoped that Siva manages today's show well as they looked at Siva desperately who started reading out something soothingly "
'Dear Soulmate,
I don't even know if I should call you that. But all I know is no matter what happens you'll never leave me. Most of the listeners were confused but many of them smiled listening to their favourite RJ expressing her love for her soulmate to the whole world and thought about their own soulmates which made them smile to themselves while the others waited for Siva to talk further.
Siva laughed saying "This letter was actually written when I was in my eleventh. It was a task given by my teacher to write the letter to your favourite person whom you miss. But I didn't have anyone to miss since my parents were always by my side that's when I got this idea to write a letter to my other half. I mean,who can understand us better than our better half. It's time for me to sign off now so everyone let me know what you want to tell your better half and I'll be reading them aloud here. Good bye and I'll meet you at the same time tomorrow" signing off Siva took off her head phones putting them aside and drank water before having her bread & jam which Gaurika packed for her.
