Siva smirked leaning back on the couch and crossed her legs sitting like a Queen as her gaze turned colder looking at the old King "You've done your homework too Raja Veerabhadra Raayala. I give you credit for that".
"I may be old but not too old for your tricks young lady" VR clenched his jaw making Siva smile smugly.
"Did you like my gift?" Siva asked making VR grit his teeth.
"Just because you are the Princess of Coimbatore that doesn't mean you'll be tolerated" VR warned.
"Oh! Are you scared of what I'll find?" Siva asked.
"Digging up past means digging your own grave" VR stated.
"Right! But in this case I'm digging up your mother's grave" Siva countered back.
VR was about to say something when Deva ordered "That's enough! You are taking it too far Sivatmika Devi" making Siva turn to Deva.
"You are the daughter of Raja Chandra Pratap Gupta" The King concluded from all the conversation making Siva get up and take blessings of the old King.
"Bless me! For I've to win this case, grandfather in law" Siva touched VR's feet and stood up before walking towards the King and took his blessings too.
"Grandfather in law?" Hima asked.
"Right! I forgot that my grandfather and your grandmother are distant cousins. That makes me, you and Mahima cousins too" Siva explained as she looked at the King.
"Oh.My.God" Pallavi bewildered looking between Siva and the old King.
"So she's the rumoured daughter of the King of Coimbatore?" Chandra asked.
"Not rumoured anymore since my identity is revealed on the national television" Siva said.
"And whose fault is that?" Deva asked making Siva roll her eyes.
"Grandfather in law's obviously. But I did enjoy being the ordinary girl in the palace. If only I had more time then.." Deva cut off Siva before she could complete.
"Sivatmika! I kept silent all these days, that doesn't mean I'll accept whatever you do" Deva warned making Siva huff.
"Fine! But this is not the end. I'm still here for work and I'll complete it" Siva stated before walking away to her room.
Later........................................................
"That's why Siva never spoke of her family" Rudra concluded as he looked at the younger generation sitting in the living room after Deva, King and VR went for a walk in the garden.
"Don't tell me you didn't know about this before hand" Pallavi accused.
"I swear I didn't. You know how he's with secrets" Rudra defended himself.
"So! The Siva we know is not a commoner. But the only Princess of Coimbatore" Mahi stated.
"Mahi! I know how you feel...but-"Rudra started but Mahi cut him off.
"No! You don't Rudra. I thought she was my friend" Mahi said.
"I'm still your friend Mahi" Siva said and sat beside her continuing "I think it's better you put a stop to whatever story your minding is weaving".
"Then why did you come here?" Mahi asked.
"I told you I'm here for work and it just happened that the Prince returned which was totally unexpected" Siva said genuinely.
