The Bracelet

I woke suddenly to the sound of Mitch singing 'Crazy In Love' by Beyoncé to Scott as they are staring at Scott's laptop.
"What are you guys so chipper about?"

"Oh, we are just going through old Superfruit videos and were on the best friend tag." Scott said with a huge smile on his face.

"I take it we're finally in London?" I ask Scott, slightly annoyed that it's taken us this long.

"Yes, grumpy!" Scott replied, mocking me and my morning grumpiness.

"Morning all!" I turn round to see Kevin standing at the bottom of this bunk looking half asleep and in need of his morning coffee.

"Hey Kevin!" Me, Scott and Mitch all say in unison.

"Okay so I'm away to go get coffee, I'm assuming there is a Starbucks near here?" Mitch said as he looked out the tour bus window in a state of panic. "A girl needs her morning java!"

"Let's ask Esther, she'll know!" Scott said and they both got up from the back of the bus to find her.

Kevin and I sit down and he looks at me like I'm not all here.

"You all right Kev?" I ask confused

"Oh... Yeah... sorry just thinking.." I'm a bit confused but I let him think as he is probably thinking about what song we are going to put on the next album.

I feel a buzz in my hand and it's Mitch asking what Avi wants. I reply in a second giving him the order. I've always known Avis' coffee order; black, double shot with the smallest drop of creamer you can get.

I decide it's probably time to wake sleeping beauty so I go over to his bunk and look at him for a second. She's dreaming happily it should be a crime to wake him. I have to as we have a full day! He gets out of his bed just as I have resumed my spot beside Kevin and he climbs down off his bed. Just his pj bottoms on and his hair a mess and his eyes that look so heavy that they are just beautiful. I can't help but look at him as he heads toward the bathroom at the end of the bus.

Once he's in the bathroom I sit down across from Kevin not noticing I have a huge smile plastered across my face.

"Umm... Kirst.. You alright there?" Kevin asks as he looks at me confused. I have a feeling he may have noticed my affection for Avi but I can't say anything. They are both so close that Avi would know in a second what was wrong.

"Yeah man! I'm good. Excited to be in London!!" It didn't sound genuine, almost like I was trying to brush something off but I genuinely am very excited!

Kevin's definitely onto me.

Avi came out of the bathroom looking a little less zombie like but not fully awake.

"Hey Avi!" I said really happily to him hoping he would say something back. Instead he just took two finger and mimicked a salute. He slouched down on to the sofa next to Kevin and slammed his head on the table trying to wake himself up. Man he was attractive!

"Who's ready for COFFEE?!" Mitch came back on the bus with a cup carrier full of coffee. Thank goodness! He placed them down on the table in front of me. The first coffee I picked up was named Avi. He was so thankful for the coffee he hugged Scott and Mitch. His hugs look so good and comforting!

We got ready had some chats about the show the night before and decided to explore the city. I spent the day with Scott and Mitch going round Madame Tussaud's, going on the London eye and seeing Big Ben. It was an amazing place but the time soon came for us to meet at the bus to get ready for tonight's show.

When we got to the bus only Avi was there. Kevin was apparently having throat problems so they were going to get it seen to. Mitch and Scott were craving coffee.. Again! So they went back to Starbucks. I was alone with Avi. I got on the bus out the cold and he weirdly looked to happy to see me.

"Hey Kirst! I'm so glad your here!" He said sounding so happy.

"Hey! Why are you so happy?" I asked confused at his tone.

"Now I know you've had a rough time recently and it's close to the time of the anniversary of your mums death; so Esther and I thought you might like something to cheer you up. " He handed me a little white gift bag. I shot a confused look at Avi and he nodded for me to look inside. I reached in to find a beautiful creamy white box with 'Pandora' written on the front. I opened it to find the most beautiful charm bracelet with 3 charms already on it. They were a 'K' for Kirstin, a 'P' for Pentatonix and a musical note. I was simply in awe of this gift! I hugged Avi. I almost melted into him as I felt him hug back. I knew it. His hugs are amazing. I let go and a tear left my eye.

"Hey hey! Don't cry!" He just shushed me and held me in his arms. I felt so stupid crying about a bracelet but it was such a lovely thought.

Next thing we know Scott and Mitch walk onto the bus with coffee in their hands. I suddenly sit upright and wipe the tears from my face trying to make out nothing had happened.

"Ummm.. where's ours?" I ask jokingly gesturing towards and Avi and I.

"Umm.. umm. sorry?" is all Scott could come out with. I went up to him and joking slapped him on the arm.

"I'm only teasing." I say giggling. Scott looks at me with concern in his eyes.

"Kirst. Have you been crying?" I look back round at Avi who looks worried.

"No, just tired. I'm going to find Esther see if we can get in the hotel rooms yet. I need a proper nap before we head out for the show." I tell Scott putting on a fake smile trying to cover up that I had been crying.

I turn around walk back to Avi and take back the bracelet and mouth the words 'thank you' to him. As I leave I hear the boys asking what had happened and what was wrong with me but I trusted Avi. I find Esther and she gives me my room key. I take the lift up to my floor and go into my room. I lay on my bed thinking about Avi and the bracelet. I then gather my thoughts and pray hoping my mum will hear me. So many thoughts go through my head as I'm drifting into sleep. What was he thinking when he decided to get me it? Does it mean anything more. Grasping hold onto the bracelet, I fall into a peaceful sleep; dreaming about what is to come.
