Julie woke up and the memories of the previous night came flooding back. She smiled, remembering the kiss she had shared with Luke. She got ready for school and made her way downstairs. She made herself a sandwich for breakfast.
"Ah" she exclaimed as Luke appeared behind her, "I'll never get used to that."
"Anyways, I wanted to ask you something. Would you like to go on a date with me?"
"Sure. When and what do I wear?" she asked, smiling.
"Tonight, seven o'clock. Wear whatever you like."
"Ok, I have to get to school though. See you tonight." She said, kissed his cheek lightly and hurried out the front door.
When Julie arrived, she saw Flynn at her locker.
"Flynn! I have some major news to tell you."
"Jules. Is it about Luke?" her eyes were lighting up with excitement.
"Actually, yes. We kissed last night and I'm going on a date with him tonight."
"Girl, you actually did it. You're dating a ghost."
"Let's get to class or we're going to be late." Julie reminded them, smirking, nonetheless.
"Guys, I asked Julie out. I have an idea of where to take her but I'm not sure if it's a good one." Luke said, bursting in through the door.
"Dude calm down." Alex told him, "What do you have in mind?"
Luke recounted the evening he had planned. The boys listened, nodding approvingly.
"Dude she is going to love that." Reggie reassured him.
"Ok, I need to get some stuff. Bye."
Luke poofed out and appeared on the busy streets of Hollywood. He looked around, trying to find what he was looking for. He had asked Julie for some of the money from their gigs a couple days back. He suddenly saw something glistening in a display case at the jewelry and doubled back. It was perfect for Julie. He went inside, quickly grabbed it, replacing it with money he pulled out of his pocket. He hurried out, wanting to quickly find all the other things he needed.
Julie came back home with Flynn. She had decided to come over to help her friend prepare for her date.
"Ok, so we need to sort out the main thing. Outfit." Flynn said in an exciting tone. "Did he tell you anything?"
"He said to wear whatever I want."
"Ok, so we want something comfy but also fit for the outdoors." she said, thinking.
Suddenly, her eyes lit up. "I got it. What about the Sunset curve shirt from your mom's trunk."
"Flynn, you are a genius. And I can pair it with plain black jeans and old school vans." Julie said as she took the clothes she mentioned out of her closet.
"Jules, I think we got ourselves a first date outfit." Flynn nodded approvingly, "Now go get dressed so I can do your makeup and hair.
AN: Yes, I am going to be this evil and make the actual date in the next part. Not that there are many people reading.
