Lesley waited for Rick to get changed before they headed up to see Dana for their appointment...
" This is Dr. Webber...." Lesley got out when picking up her phone in her office.
" Lesley it's Dana...." Dana replied
" Dana is everything ok?.... What's wrong?” Lesley got out trying to stay calm while catching Rick's attention when he came back from changing...
" We'll be right there Rick had to change from his scrubs before we had our appointment with you... Dana, are you sure there isn't something wrong... I'm asking because for a split moment it sounded like there might have been a problem with the baby." Lesley got out and put the phone down and took a minute before she looked up at Rick.
" Lesley what is it?" Rick sat in front next to her hoping she'll open up to him about what the call was about.
" I..... I um.... I'm okay.... Dana just wants to see us alittle bit earlier than the normal time we usually have set... Rick that worries me. What if there's something to worry about or if there's something wrong with the baby?”
" We will face it together, we can get through it. Nothing is gonna happen to you or this baby Lesley.... Not if I have anything to do about it, everything's gonna be okay." Rick replied and pulled Lesley close to him.
They headed for Dana's office for their appointment and ran into Steve just on the way. " Rick, I'm glad I caught you when you have some time. I would like to run a few things by you..."
" Steve, could we maybe meet in about an hour or so? Dana called us just now she wants to see us alittle earlier than usual so we're heading up there right now." Rick asked
" Of course it's no problem.... That's more important you just take care of Lesley and the baby. Come by my office later when you can" Steve replied and stepped off the elevator.

" Thank you, that's exactly what I was waiting to hear....you ran that twice?..... Thank you.. " Dana finished just as Lesley and Rick knocked and made it for their early appointment.
" Come on in.... I'm sorry if I raised alarms or fears when I called alittle bit ago... I had a patient cancel so an opening came up." Dana said as she sat down at her desk
" It's really no problem Dana.... I'm doing ok so far today." Lesley replied with a fake smile while she had the discomfort.
" Well everything came back normal with your blood work so far and there are no signs of any complications, or any abnormalities.... Are you ready to see the baby again?...." Dana replied with pleasure.
" You better.....” Lesley started to say when she felt a sharp pain go through her side again only to be more intense... And she knew that it was early signs of preterm labor
" Lesley take a deep breath.... Tell me where it hurts..." Dana said simply while Rick looked to catch her Heart Rate and Pulse Ox....
“ Dana, her pulse is slightly elevated…. She needs to be admitted right now page Cardio.” Rick said straight out as Lesley gripped his hand.
" Dana... Yo-you have to stop this... It's much too soon..." Lesley stated while reaching to grab on to Rick's hand
Lesley's fears started to creep back up again when the pain wouldn't go away and Rick didn't hesitate to have her admitted and Dana agreed that she needed to be monitored to be on the safe side. Dana stepped out shortly after to run tests with Lesley's blood work.
