Alina was looking forward to getting home straight after work, the thought of comfortably indulging into warm blankets and finally relax her muscles after a hot bath was almost orgasmic to think about.
"Ali, you've been quiet, everything okay?" Her best friend, Selene, asked before taking a chug of her beer, emptying the can.
"I would rather be at home than hang out with you." She said loudly to her peers as they began to boo at her response. In honour of the group winning an a cappella competition, they all decided to go for drinks in celebration, the deal was to leave the place penniless and drunk which half of the group had accomplished already.
"We're the only friends you have Alina." Selene responded, taking the favor of the group, Alina simply rolled her eyes playfully and sat with her legs crossed, her red Christian Louboutin bottoms shining on display for everyone to see.
"I want another beer, can I drink yours? You haven't even touched it!" Alina pulled away her glass stingily from Selene and held it up in the air.
"No Selene , maybe you should try sober up, aren't you driving yourself home?"
"Please, I drive much better drunk than when I'm sober." Catherine said, gaining praise from everyone, Alina hesitantly cheered on, hoping she was only making a joke.
"Alina, please." Selene pleaded, her eyes widening with diluted pupils.
"Jesus Selene, let me just get you another one, you're addicted I swear."
"They stopped serving an hour ago, you have to go to the bar and get it." A member of the group informed her. Selene was usually very quiet and reserved so seeing her like this made Alina happy, alcohol helped her loosen up.
She sighed in annoyance and scowled at Selene who only looked back at her innocently. Selene got up for her to walk out of the booth and walk towards the bar, music was blaring loudly, several groups of people were dancing, doing karaoke, drinking and getting drunk of course. Alina pulled down her dress as she approach the bar to the bartender who was facing the other way.
"Excuse me?"
The figure stood in their place and continued what they were doing.
"Excuse me??"
Once again, the figure did not move, she said it two more times and got irritated, she climbed over the counter slightly to tap the figure a bit too harsh out of annoyance, they turned around to reveal a man who had earphones plugged in, they removed it with a tug and looked into her brown eyes.
"I'm sorry ma'am, the bar is closed." A slight latin accent soothed out from the man's lips as he spoke softly and assertively.
"Really? I did not go through all that trouble for you to tell me the bar is closed."
The man smiled, revealing his pearly whites that added a glow to his skin, he was really handsome, satiny curls ran down just over his neck, Alina felt a slight thump in her heart, he was gorgeous, was he a model?
"My bad, probably shouldn't be listening to music on the job, how about a drink on the house?" Her eyebrow shot up in suspicion , it was either that he was acknowledging that he was wrong and shouldn't have been listening to music and was trying to be nice or, the better suspicion, he was bribing her not to complain to the manager.
