The next morning after their steamy affair, Alina stirred awake, stretching a little before she realised Dominic was still asleep, holding onto her as he lay shirtless next to her. He had put her into pyjamas after their bath, that's all Alina last remembered. As she looked at his sleeping figure, she smiled, remembering last night's events vividly a warm blush appearing on her face. Her hands gently caressed his face, going through every detail of his face, she flinched a little as he leaned into her touch, his eyes slowly opening with a small smile.

"Good morning..what an amazing way to wake up." He said, tightening his grip slightly around her waist and kissing her lips.

"Morning..how'd you sleep?" She asked.

"I slept really well, how did you sleep? You in any pain?" he asked and now that she thought about it, she realised and registered the pain in her lower body, it wasn't a lot but it was more or less uncomfortable.

"A little but it'll be okay, you took good care of me last night, thank you." She said with a smile, still caressing his face. Before she could answer, her phone rang loudly, she looked at Dom apologetically before she picked it up.

"Hello?"

"Hey Lina, babes me and some of my friends are going dress shopping." Tayana said on the other line, much to Alina's confusion.

"Dress shopping? For what?"

"Oh I didn't tell you, me and Jun have been planning our wedding, it's in a week!" Alina's eyes widened, this was such like Tayana, she knew she was excited and wanted to get married as soon as possible but 1 week? The whole world's schedule just had to follow Tayana's needs.

"Tayana I'm happy for you but...1 week to get the wedding ready? Isn't that a bit too much?" Alina asked with concern, her eyes briefly bet with Dominic's who was eavesdropping and not making it discrete either.

"You don't have to worry about that, just focus on coming at 3pm today and looking beautiful, oh and by the way, I'm hosting an engagement dinner tonight, you can bring Dom too." Alina sighed and decided to lighten the mood.

"Hm... I'll have to check my schedule." Alina could already imagine Tayana rolling her eyes playfully.

"Mhm not like you ova anything better to do, I already talked to your assistant to clear up your schedule for today, you're coming missy, see you later, mwah." Tayana said as she cut the call before Alina could respond.

Dom held Alina's hand and waited for her to speak.

"Tayana can be such a pain in the ass, I really wanted to spend the day with you." She said, squeezing his hand supportively.

"I know baby but you gotta go, I understand. Wedding planning in a week is..interesting, hopefully she'll pull it off, I don't doubt it, your family has the facilities for it." He said supportively, reassuring her.

"You're right.. at least I have the morning and evening with you babe."

"Can I pick out your outfit for today?" He asked like a little boy, his pupils dilating slightly.

"Sure, I trust you baby." She said kissing his cheek as she got out of bed. "I'm gonna go make us some breakfast."

Seated on the barstools by the counter, they both ate together a full English b breakfast, Dominic had supported her on her eating issues, making small promises and reassurance about food, although she still had her reservations about eating, she would try for him.

"So, how did Tayana meet Jun?" Dom asked curiously before taking a bite from his piece of toast.

"Well, Tayana didn't believe in love before...she was very outgoing but never the romantic type, she liked to sleep around once in a while to get the release out of the way. Bad thing is, she'd sleep with her models, managers, assistants and fire them after to make sure her name wouldn't be in the press but the one time, someone went to the press about it and got her name on social media outlets before my dad got involved and got it all removed." She paused, letting Dom internalise what she was saying, he didn't take Tayana to be that sort of person, she seemed to be someone with high standards and wouldn't just let anyone temporary have access to her but looks could be deceiving.

"It kind of helped that she would make her one night stands sign an NDA to make sure it was kept secret but of course people in her close workspaces knew what kind of person she was and of course I knew, not was a habit of hers since high school. Long story short, Jun was supposed to be a one-night stand but now he somehow got her to fall in love and be committed for once, now they're getting married." Alina said, she wasn't even surprised anymore, Tayana had her on past issues but she was the first to come after people, people like Alina for their wrongdoings.

"Wow...I was not expecting that, some love story huh?" Dom said with a smile grin on his face, appreciative of how he'd met Alina.

"Yeah well..let's hope it lasts." She said, taking a sip of her fruit juice.

"I get why she's excited to do everything so fast, she wants to make a statement." He said, hoping Alina would support his thoughts.

"That's exactly what I was thinking...but she doesn't have to prove herself to anyone." Dom and her knew each other well, it's like their thoughts would just sync together.

"Does your dad know about her past?" Alina nodded curtly, finishing off the last of her small portion of food.

"Yes, he did but obviously he can't judge, he's done the same. I kind of understood him...he was lonely after my mom passed away so.." She said, her voice suddenly turning solemn, he didn't know what to say but invite her onto his lap, she did so, sitting comfortably on him, her hand draping over his shoulders.

"I swear i'm the only normal one in this family but they treat me like I'm the odd one out." He put an arm around her waist comfortingly.

"You are the odd one out but in a good way." He paused, thinking of a way to speak without insulting her family. "There's nothing wrong with being different I mean..at least you don't sleep around." She stayed quiet for a moment, thinking of what to say.

"I can practically hear your thoughts running, what's wrong?" He asked.

"Nothing..just thinking ahead, into the future, what my wedding is gonna look like."

"It can be anything you want, you don't have to impress anyone you know?" He said.

"You mean it can be anything we want, you're my future husband, the only person I need in my life." Her words made his heart beat faster, he could already see a strong future with her, she'd be a great mother and wife.

"You're so sweet, you know that?" He said, rubbing her back.

"I try." She paused. "Dom, do you want kids?" She asked, catching him off guard, he had thought about it before but it was way too early, they are still young.

"Uhh..yeah, at some point I do, it's too early now, don't you think my love?" She gave a small smile and nod.

"Yeah.. just wondering, I'm definitely not ready for little Dominic's yet." He chuckled for a moment before putting both arms around her and resting his head on her shoulder.

"I can't wait to get you pregnant." He said, gaining a small blush from her, she knew his thoughts were about to go into a completely wrong direction.

She felt his hands drop down to her hips, moving her hips to grind against his thigh, making her breath hitch in her throat, she wanted more but she knew if he continued she'd be late. She swiftly got up, moving out of his reach, he made a playful pout on hi s face.

"You're such a tease...you're gonna make me late." Gaining a small smirk from him, she rolled her eyes and walked to the bathroom down the hallway.

"It's for a good cause baby."
