Alina tossed and turned , her sleep disturbed by a horrific nightmare. She was trapped by Diego closing in on her. The fear and terror felt so real, and she was unable to move or call for help. The memories of her past trauma were relived in vivid detail, leaving her feeling hopeless and scared. She woke up with a start, her heart racing and her body covered in a cold sweat. The nightmare lingered in her mind, leaving her feeling shaken and vulnerable casting a shadow over her otherwise perfect night.

As the nightmare began to fade, she felt a wave of emotion wash over her. The terror she had felt in the dream was now replaced by a deep sorrow and sense of helplessness. As the tears began to flow, she curled up into a ball, her body shaking with sobs. The pain from the past experience surfaced once more, leaving her feeling vulnerable and alone.

After crying for some time, her exhaustion finally took over and she fell asleep again.

----

She had woken up and contacted the maids to clean the house, in preparation for Dom's visit. Her sister and best friend had left already, ready to go back to their demanding lines of work. This was the first time she was alone since it happened and she felt slightly miserable, she needed more distractions or else she'd go crazy.

Pushing her thoughts aside, she took a long warm shower and took the time to treat herself and give herself an everything shower.

After that, she sat at her vanity, doing her normal curl routine to have them luscious, bouncy and shiny, applying some minimal soft makeup to compliment her features and dressing into a comfortable set and a black pair of UGGS to be comfortable around the house. She got up and made sure the house was clean before she sent her location to Dominic and just in time, the Chef arrived to make their lunch, once she was satisfied with everything, she sat down on the couch and watched some Netflix.

----

Dominic soon arrived at the penthouse, it looked more stunning during the day, everything was sleek and modern and had a beautiful view of the city, before he took a look around he brought Alina into a hug, his arms wrapping around her waist, she tensed a bit but gradually accepted the hug.

"Hey, go on take a seat wherever you want."

"Where are you sitting?" He said boldly, which caught her off guard but she pointed to the couch she was sitting on before and sure enough, that's where he sat, she joined him, angling her body to face him, her legs momentarily grazing against his.

"So, how was your day?" Alina asked inquisitively.

"It was a little boring, just covered my guitar accompaniment gig today, I was surprised I didn't see you." Alina had flashbacks to this morning, she had a rough morning with the nightmares and the way she sobbed for hours and couldn't get herself out of the house.

"Uh..yeah I was quite tired to be honest but I'll make it back when I come back." She said with a smile, her eyes diverted to the Chef who walked into the living room.

"Sorry to interrupt you Ms Suzui but your lunch and dinner is all done, I made the charcuterie board you requested and left dinner all packed up in the fridge for you." The man said with a soulful and comfortable voice.

"That's alright, thank you Mr Brown, that would be all for today." The man gave a curt nod to the two and left the apartment.

"You had a chef come over?" He asked, feeling a little self conscious how she went all out and he only bought them pizza on their first date.
