A few girls were seen nearing the gates of a villa that had flashing lights poking through the windows. Seems like a blast.

"Must we really stay till the end?" Yena complains.

Yuri pulls her along. "Don't complain."

They stood before the door, taking a breather since being in there might reap their lungs of oxygen. There are a lot of people.

Yeji folds her arms. "Expected of the jock." she shakes her head and enters.

Without saying anything, Yujin and Minju tagged along.

"I'll go find Yuna." Ryujin skips past the crowd, disappearing instantly.

Yuri and Yena were still quarrelling about coming here. Well, it's late and this party was absolutely impromptu.

Yujin and Minju were left alone in the middle of nowhere. They were practically dragged along to this party.

While they were busy gazing around, a guy came between them, putting his arms around their shoulders.

Jay grins at the both of them. "Didn't know you two would come."

Yujin takes his arm off her shoulder, giving a look of disgust. "I was forced to." she kept a distance.

Minju stood still, shaking her head. So this is his party. She had no intention of speaking to someone who's nothing but a complete asshole.

They had a past. He's just a jerk when it comes to relationships. Many say he's a player.

But being born with a golden spoon and exquisite looks, girls overlook that aspect.

Not Minju though. She thought he would change but oh no. He never changes, exactly like how a leopard would never change its spots.

He's nice and all but doesn't have boundaries. Perhaps why they broke up just this year.

Jay looks at Minju. "Regret?"

"Nope." The brunette slips away and walks to where the kitchen was. Drinks are served there.

Yujin nudges him away and follows Minju. She stood at the counter, watching the girl fumble around the foreign area. "Isn't he your..." Yujin tries not to pry.

In fact, she isn't close to Minju. Funny when they're in the same little clique. There were other girls and it gets difficult to catch up with every single one of them.

They were surface level. Conversations were plainly awkward between them.

They don't know why but no one really brings it up.

Minju looks up, opening the ice box halfway. "Ex-boyfriend." she simply says, taking out two red popsicles.

"Ex?" Yujin's eyes follow her as the girl shifts beside her.

Minju nods, passing her one. "Why are you surprised?"

Yujin looks at the strawberry-flavoured popsicle. "I thought it was going well." she pinches the edge of the packaging.

The brunette stuck the red popsicle in her mouth, shaking her head. "He is who he is," Minju said.

Yujin slowly nods and opens the ice box, swapping out a blue raspberry-flavoured popsicle. Those two were the only flavours here.

"You don't like strawberries?" Minju might've gasped.

The taller girl closes the box. "It tastes too real and becomes artificial to me."
