Minju rushes back to her class after being a minute late.

"What took you so long?" Chaewon complained, watching her girlfriend take out her things for class. "You said you were going to the bathroom. Why would you take 20 minutes?"

"Something came up." Minju took in a deep breath, exhaling to calm her heart down. Something definitely came up.

She tried focusing on the lesson with Chaewon's frown bothering her. Minju knows she should at least tell her and not keep her own girlfriend in the dark.

But what didn't go through her head was how she was able to do all that in the bathroom when she has been trying for the past few weeks.

"Why are you sweating?" Chaewon whispers as Minju cleans it off swiftly. "It's hot," she said.

Minju looks down, getting a little worried the moment a girl enters her mind.

She shifts her chair back. "I'll go to the infirmary."

Chaewon stops her. "Why? What's wrong?"

"I'll be back." Minju quickly rushes out of the class after informing the teacher.

Chaewon heard subtle whispers across the class. They were rumours about their relationship, and about Minju who became slightly different after being with Chaewon.

Minju dangles her legs off the bed in the infirmary as the nurse settles some things.

"Why is this happening to me? I don't even..." she pauses as the nurse drags her roller chair toward her.

Minju got anxious and sensitive when the lady comes closer. "I'm a Beta, don't worry," she assured, letting Minju breathe. "How long has this been happening for?"

"Just today. I usually can't get it up. But somehow..." she looks at the tent beneath her shorts. "...I could today."

"With who?"

Minju twists her facial expression. "Must I tell you that?"

The nurse nods. "Not Chaewon?" Minju slowly shook her head.

The lady hums. "You can't get hard with Chaewon?"

Minju's cheeks grew red but she's a nurse. "No."

"No matter how hard you try?"

Minju nods. "Do you love her?"

"Yes, of course. Why would you ask that?"

"Then it shouldn't be a problem..." The nurse mumbles, rolling herself to the medicine cabinet and pulling out some suppressants.

"I'll just give you these for now." she comes back. "If it still happens, come back."

Minju reaches for the pills but the nurse retracts her hand back. "Are you sure there's no one else you're thinking of whenever you're with Chaewon?"

The girl blinks and swallows thickly. "No..." she says. "Is that—"

"If your heart is with someone else, whatever you're doing with your current partner won't satisfy her." The nurse cuts her off. "It's part of the whole process. You'll need to really love your partner to know what they need."

"It's just..." Minju grips onto the bedsheet, heart exponentially banging against her chest. "She keeps on appearing in my head."

"Who?"

Minju presses her lips together, hesitating.

They got interrupted when the curtain behind her slid open a little.
