It's December. It's cold. It's beautiful. The snow is laying like a coat over the well known London. Christmas season is the prettiest time ever, especially in London. Taylor and Joe are on a walk around the neighborhood. It's around twelve a clock daytime, Sunday. They're walking hand in hand, talking about everything, laughing about absolutely nothing. That's what's so lovely about being in love. It doesn't make sense at all. The smallest things just seem so special when you're with the person you love.
However Taylor is babbling about some TV show she watched yesterday when Joe was away working. They use these little moments to catch up on what's going on in each other's lives. Though, they spend most of their time together, they still always have things to talk about. It's beautiful.
"And that's why he decided to do what he did. It's like nobody knew what was going on and that's what was so incredibly interesting. Like, I had no idea that he was gonna do that. So when he did, I was extremely surprised and not to talk about, confused as hell." Taylor explained
Joe nodded along with her story.
"His friends, that he thought knew him so well, didn't even know what was going on. Isn't it crazy?"
"Totally" Joe simply replied
They had now stopped walking and were now just standing there on the sidewalk with snowflakes dancing around them. Facing each other, as Taylor kept on talking about the show.
"Not even his girlfriend knew he was gonna do it, can you believe it? I surely couldn't. But anyway, I loved it. I loved it that I had no idea what was gonna happen next. That's what made me wanna keep watching, you know."
Joe took her other hand as well, squeezing it, smiling at her.
"You really like talking huh?" He said looking lovingly at his adorable girlfriend.
"I mean, it's human nature. You have to be able express your thoughts sometimes. And today you happen to be the person that has to listen to what I'm thinking." She said with a proud smile looking straight into his eyes.
"I love being that person, I love hearing you talk, and I love you."
"Specifically, if I'm in a very talkative mood and talk about very unnecessary topics....."she starts, avoiding his statement, he loves her. She looks away from his eyes and glares at the tree behind him.
"I still find it important to speak your mind an not just that but it's also very-" Joe cuts her off by pulling her hands forcing her closer to him. Her chest touches his as he grins down at her cute frowned face.
"It's also very beautiful, to me."She finishes quietly as Joe as has already embraced her in a simple and soft hug, with his arms delicately around her shoulders. Her hands land on his lower back and her face sticks up from between his shoulder and neck. She breaths in his warmth and a discreet smile forms on her lips.
"Shall we go inside?" Joe asks after a minute or two.
"Alright." Now Taylor is the one with simple answers since she's still a little puffed by the overwhelming love she is feeling right now.
They start walking again and by the time they're almost by the house Taylor stops abruptly. Joe stops as well since he doesn't go anywhere without her. He looks at her with a questioning look.
"May I ask what's on your mind now miss?" He asks
Taylor doesn't say anything she just starts running in the direction of their shared Londonhouse.
