I opened my eyes and I was nearly blinded by a bright white light. It was hot as hell in here! I tried to move my arms, but they were tied together! Someone tied my legs and my arms together, and left me in this hot-humid basement. I screamed for help, and nothing happened.
"Don't do that again." a raspy-demonic voice spoke, causing me to jump.
"Who is that?" I looked around but I didn't see anyone.
Suddenly, the creature with the backwards legs and arms stepped towards me. My eyes widened in shock and terror as he came closer.
"What?!" he hissed.
"Nothing." I looked away.
"Tell me Naquita...why do you think you're here?"
"What?! How'd you-?!" I never told anyone my real middle name.
I hated it. It sounded weird and it didn't fit me. The only people who'd know was my family. Is this a relative? Nobody I knew died recently.
"Listen. I don't know who you are but-"
"Its Nathaniel. Don't you remember?" I shook my head slowly.
"The boy Alan beat up. I pushed you. He beat me so bad, I can't even shift correctly. Its your fault. He wouldn't stop."
"What?! What are you talking about?!"
"Don't play dumb with me." Nathaniel snorted.
I rolled my eyes.
"Y'know, you're a real pain in the ass. Can't you let me go? I don't know why this Alan dude keeps coming up in every conversation I have. I don't even know him."
"Let me remind you." Nathan grabbed my head, and memories flashed.
I was in a daze. I couldn't snap out of it! All I could think about was my lovely boyfriend. I missed Alan, I missed everything about him. I don't know how I could forget him!! I smiled as the warm memories flooded my brain. I was about to speak when the door flew open and a familiar voice growled.
"Let her go Nathaniel, or I'll kill her." Alan's eyes were yellow and he was holding up a small fragile looking girl. Her face looked like it hadn't been washed in years, and she had ragged dirty clothes on.
"Alan!!" I yelled happily.
He said something back, but I'm not sure what it was.
"Mate!!" Nathaniel screeched. What?!
"Let go of her, and I won't kill Anna." Alan frowned, his face contorted in rage.
Almost instantly, Nathaniel cut the ropes and I ran to Alan. He looked at me and smiled.
"Kim..." He dropped the girl and opened his arms. I helped her up and ran into his arms.
"Dude! We gotta get out of here."
"Why?! I just found you!!"
"It's getting dark. Moon = Bad Wolfie. No likey. Let's go!" I grabbed his hand and ran out of the house.
Alan jumped in his car and started driving super fast. The cold air whipped my face as he sped. My teeth chattered. When we got to Alan's house we ran downstairs.
"These are new. they shouldn't break, so you'll be fine." Alan said, smiling sheepishly, holding up some new chains.
"You're a sweet little monster." I joked, petting his head.
He laughed, and I sat down next to him. Alan sat there texting until the sun went down. I snatched the phone from him.
"Kim!! Why'd you-" he stopped talking, and looked at the window. His bones started to crack.
