My breath hitched in my throat as Lenny sniffed around, nearing the tree I was by. He stopped, moving around the fat trunk, red eyes landing on me. He snarled menacingly, moving closer to me. My heart thudded loudly in my ears.
As soon as he got close, he snatched me up like my daughter. I screamed for Chase, over and over again. I cried out, falling back, and kicking my legs. I squirmed, making him look at me. His eyes almost instantly normalized. He gasped and put me down, shrinking back to normal. I looked at Chase, who weakly ran to me, falling in my arms and crying, and I realized:
Chase really is Lenny.

The car ride back was silent. Chase rubbed his face a few times but I wasn't speaking. Once we pulled up, he got out wordlessly. At least I didn't get hurt. That's all that mattered to me. I could see that Chase was tired. He sobered up pretty fast too. I sighed, slipping my hand into his.
He held on to my hand, gripping his head tight.

Kim's POVI hummed as Alan and I pulled up to the hospital. The car ride there, wasn't very entertaining, but Alan is my boyfriend and I love him, so it's okay. We brought all the stuff inside, and I shared a tearful embrace with my best friend.
Chase was sitting in the corner. I blinked and walked over to him, holding my arms out. He smiled sadly, and tiredly, hugging me gently. I smiled.
"You sure you don't want chicken alfredo?"
"I'm sure. Thanks Kim."
I nodded. The thought occurred to me, that we didn't have a single plate.
"Hold up a sec? I gotta grab the plates."
Alan nodded, and I jogged outside. It was dark outside, and the air temperature had dropped. My arms were beginning to prickle with goosebumps. I hugged my body, as I made my way across the parking lot. The wind blew, making me feel even more freezing. As I found out car, I saw a group of shadows headed towards me. I grimaced and jumped in the car.
Maybe they weren't after me? I sat in the car, and locked the doors, my breath leaving me in vapors. The figures surrounded the car, and they all began to hit the windows. Frightened, I felt around for my phone. It wasn't on me. I panicked, before a huge hand went through the window, and pulled me by my hair. I screamed, but it didn't seem to care.
It pulled and pulled at my head, pulling me out of the car. The broken glass scraped my skin all over and I cried out. Once I was out, the figure pulling me, held me up by my hair.
"Please, let me go!" I screamed, a shaking, shivering mess.
"As if." It grunted.
I looked around at all the dirty faces. Nathaniel was one of them. His girlfriend stood beside him, avoiding my eye contact. Blood was all over my clothes and my skin burned. Tears were rolling down my face, and I knew there was nothing I could do.
The glass sliced a gash in my leg, and it burned like all hell the blood was dripping all over the place, and Alan was sure to notice when he came back. I closed my eyes, trying to block out all the sights and noises. My head was starting to spin.
"We've caught her. Now, for what they've done to another pack member, we'll kill her. He will feel every part of her pain. He will know, that it was the Black Forest pack. Let's go!"
I was surrounded by the sound of bones cracking, and I fell to the ground, my head hitting the hard concrete, as the big one dropped me to shift. I tried crawling away, but he was fast, and he bit down on my other leg. I screamed, as he tossed me up into the air, and onto his back. With that, they were off, and they got what they wanted. Why was I so prone to kidnapping??
