It was Tuesday, and Kamiyama's students were outside with their friends talking and hanging out before class started.
The time was 7:45 and Rui had met up with Nene near Tsukasa's classroom.
"Where is he? I haven't seen Tsukasa since our practice yesterday..." Rui asked, crossing his arms as he observed the halls for a blonde haired loud student.
"Same here... He's not the type to be tardy." Nene commented.
"There's a chance he's fallen ill.." The inventor suggested, and the girl nodded.
"That's true, but wouldn't he have texted us telling us he's going to miss today's practice?" The mint haired pointed out.
"You're right. He always tells us if he's going to miss practice..." Rui said, pulling out his phone quickly and looked for a text message from Tsukasa, but there was nothing.
"Nothing from Tsukasa?" Nene asked, the purple haired sighed and nodded.
Soon enough, they had to split up and go to their own classrooms. They waved goodbye and went to class.
Rui sat down and waited for class to officially start. He looked around the room and it was filled with kids talking to each other, people sitting alone like him, or doing other stupid stuff.
But then someone said a name that caught his attention.
"Hey, where's that one guy... Tsukasa?" A boy asked his friend.
"No idea, I haven't seen him today laughing his stupid ass off yelling things about being a star." The friend replied and the boy laughed.
"Ha, I'm so glad he's gone today. At least our ears will be saved from his blabbering non-sense." The boy snickered with his friend.
"Are you two talking about Tsukasa Tenma?" A girl asked, the two friends nodded.
"Yeah, we're talking about how glad we are because he's not here." One of them said, the one who joined agreed.
"No way! We'll be saved from his snobby, egotistical ass today?!" The girl who joined celebrated with the other two laughing hard.
Rui's shoulders dropped and his eyes were widened.
He was surprised at the nerve they all had to shit-talk Tsukasa like that... They were all so wrong about him.
In reality, Tsukasa was a good guy. He tends to be loud and have a big ego while going around and telling people he's going to be a world future star, but that doesn't make him a bad guy.
Tsukasa has his flaws, everyone knows that, but they don't know how he actually is. They hate him just because he's loud.
"How would Tsukasa feel about this..?" Rui thought, ignoring the rest of the remarks the 3 behind him made.
The purple haired boy then remembered something.
"How does Tsukasa really feel?" His mind wandered back to the notes and Tsukasa in the bathroom yesterday. He pretended nothing had happened to him during rehearsal.
People keep coming after him with hurtful remarks, but he looks so unfazed through it all. Rui knew very well that Tsukasa heard everything that people said about him, but he looked like the words didn't hurt him at all.
Finally, the teacher came and silenced everyone's voices. Class time finally started, and the purple haired boy would have to silence his own thoughts and listen to the teacher.
In the end, Rui couldn't focus on anything but the thoughts he was supposed to silence. It concerned him so much that he couldn't think about anything else.
