Taylor and I decided that we were going to spend most of our day out downtown. Taylor and Jolly then me and Noah have been texting pretty much all day. He actually kept telling me that he wished he could see me again. As much as I would love that, I know he's not only busy but would get bombarded on the street by fans if they were to just walk out with us in broad daylight.

"So, are you going to tell Noah that you're seeing Aiden tonight?' Taylor asks as we walk down the street.

I hadn't decided officially if I was going too, even though I knew that I should tell him.

"I want to but I'm afraid of him wanting to go play pool as well and it being awkward. I'm not really ready to deal with Aiden's shit right now. I'm going to enjoy time out with my friends and have a civil conversation with my ex" I explained confidently.

She gives me a look.

"Do you want me to go with you?" she asks.

I wasn't going to ask because she doesn't like Aiden and she has a huge crush on Carolyn.

"Only if it's okay with you. I know you like Carolyn and you don't like Aiden. But with you texting Jolly all night, I don't want you to feel conflicted" I say.

She bursts out laughing.

"Girl. Carolyn doesn't like me like that, trust me, her and I had that talk already and I'm perfectly fine being her friend. But with Jolly, I feel something real" she says.

"But you totally still have feelings for Carolyn, don't you?" I ask.

She looks at me.

"Oh my god dude yes. She's so fucking fine bro" she says, causing us both to burst out laughing.

We then decide we are going to go for some lunch. We walked into longhorns to see it was mostly empty. We then see Bad Omens just chilling in the back, looking at Menus.

"Guys" I say, waving.

Noah looks over and smiles. Just then the hostess walks over to us.

"Sorry we are closed to the public while Bad Omens is in here" she says, nicely.

"Hey. It's all good. They are friends of ours" Nicholas says, from behind the hostess.

She looks at him then back at us.

"Would you like me to pull up some extra chairs?" she asks him.

"If you could, that would be amazing darling" he says, now flirting with her.

Taylor and I try to contain our laughter. He walks us over to their table while she grabs us some extra chairs. I take the chair closest to Noah while Taylor takes her chair and walks it over to where Jolly is. Noah couldn't take his eyes off of me.

"You look beautiful love" he says.

I smile as he hands me his menu.

"I'm actually glad I got to see you. I wanted to run something by you" I say.

He leans on his elbow on the table.

"I'm going to play pool tonight with Taylor and some other friends, but my ex will be there. I need to have a civil conversation since we still have the same friend group, and we could possibly end up hanging out with our friends at the same time. I wanted to let you know though. Something was telling me I should tell you about it" I began to ramble on.

He lays a hand softly on mine.

"Sweetheart, no need to ramble on. I completely understand. Breakups aren't exactly a one and done type of thing. I'm actually glad you told me. It lets me know that you feel some trust in me. I've trusted you with a lot of the stuff I told you about last night. I even trusted you with my phone number. I know you wouldn't abuse that power nor give it out to anyone else" he explains.
