I Should Have

Janice P.O.V

We all stood on our guard as the helicopter landed. Silas stepped out with two M.E.C.H agents.

Silas: "Joshua Falcon, am I right? I'd advise you to put down that gentleman in your grasp."

From behind me, I could hear Donna, Jaden, and Fabiano growl.

Donna: "Or what?"

Silas: "Hello Donna, it has been a long time. My Fabiano, how you've grown. You are taller than your mother."

Fabiano didn't say anything, but growled even more.

Janice: "Silas."

Silas: "Well, well, well. Jasmyn Cortez. Been a while."

Janice: " Of you ask me it hasn't been long enough."

Silas: "Whatever. Now turn him over or you'll all endure unbearable pain."

Kira: "Been there done that."

Belinda: "Its not new to us."

Silas: "I'll say it, but once more. Hand him over."

Donna: "We have scores to settle with him, so, no."

Silas: "Oh so unwise."

Silas snapped his finger as a M.E.C.H agent raised his gun, aimed it at Jared, and pulled the trigger.

Ancelin: "Brother!"

General Narration

Ancelin reacted quickly as he got in the way, getting electricuted instead. He fell to the ground, motionless.

Jared: "An-ce......lin."

Jared said weakly as Ancelin had landed in front of him.

Silas: "What a pity."

Silas looked over to the others and said it once more.

Silas: "Hand him over or, Jacob will get it this time."

At that moment the ground bridge opened. Optimus came out. Silas took his gun and fired it at Jared, electrocuting him, and making a distraction as his two agents grabbed Ezio.

Donna: "Jared!"

Jaden: "No!"

Donna and Jaden released Ezio as Fabiano removed his sword and ran after them.

Optimus: "Silas, you'll never get away with this."

Silas: "I've already had."

They boarded the helicopter and took off. Optimus turned to Donna who held Jared in her arms.

Donna: "Jared! Jared wake up!"

General Narration

Not soon after, Arcee stepped out and looked around. Seeing Jared on the ground, tears began streaming down her face. She went over to him and kneeled down.

Arcee: "Jared."

Jared looked over to his mother.

Jared: "Mom."

He said weakly.

Arcee: "Don't worry, we'll get you patched up. Ratchet's coming. Please hold on."

Jared: "Mom."

Arcee was franticing as Ratchet stepped out the ground bridge.

Jared: "Mom!"

He said as she looked at him.

Jared: "Im not gonna make it."

Donna: "Dont say that Jared. Youre gonna make it. You cant leave us. You cant leave Senshi.

Jaden: " Jared shes right, you can't.

Ratchet had finally came over and began checking him over.

Arcee: "How is he, Ratchet?"

Ratchet: "He's very weak. It'll be a miracle if he survives."

Jared: "I told you. I don't think I'll survive. I've lost too much blood. On top of that I was shot with electric bolts."

Donna: "Shut....up. You have to stay positive. Don't say that."

Jared looked up at Donna, weakly raised his hand, and placed it on her cheek.

Jared: "Donna."

Donna: "Yeah?"

Jared: "I'm sorry."

Donna: "For what? You have nothing to apologize for. It should be me that should be apologizing to you. If I had never came back, none of this would've happened."

Jared: "Don't......say.....that. Look around you. Look........at how much joy...........you brought us all. You lifted, not only your brother, Kira, Belinda, Janice, and your father, but you...........lifted me out of the darkness that we were all in. Don't......you......see. I am.......we are........glad you.....came back. I'm dying I have no regret, but one."

Donna sniffed as her tears fell on his face, mixed with the blood he had coughed up, and streamed down his face as well.

Donna: "What would that be?"

He smiled and pulled Donna's head forward and his closer to hers.

Donna P.O.V

I knew what was coming next. So I closed my eyes and let things flow. He pulled me closer until our lips meant. It was so full of passion, sorrow, warmth, but most of all. Love. That's was my first kiss. I cried even more. He slowly ended the kiss and looked into my eyes.

Jared: "My one regret more like mistake is I'm sorry."

Donna: "For what?"

Jared inhaled a shaky breath.

Jared: "Never..........telling how I........t-truly feel........ab-out........y-you."

As soon as he said that, I snapped. More tears just came streaming down. I could feel his thumb wipe across my cheek.

Donna: "I love you too Jared."

Jared smiled as he softly rubbed his hand on my cheek. His smile soon dissapered.

Jared: "I........love......yo-"

The light from his eyes disappated before he could finish the sentence.

Arcee: "No. My son."

Arcee began to cry as Ancelin held her in his arms, also crying.

Ancelin: "Brother."

He said silently. I knew right then he was gone, but I didn't want to believe it.

Donna: "Jared. Come on wake up. We have to go home."

Jaden: "Donna."

I knew it was pointless to speak to him.

Donna: "Jared wake up!"

When I finally got to the point where I believe he was gone, I broke down. It felt as my heart had burst into a thousand pieces.

General Narration

Donna's eyes grew wide as she clutched Jared's body in her arms. She placed his head on her shoulder while doing so and screamed his name at the top of her lungs.

Donna: "JAREEEEEEDD!!!!!"

She couldn't let go not, even for a second. She continued to cry and scream out his name, begging him to come back. Optimus activated his holoform and placed a hand on Donna's shoulder. She kept crying.
