Ezio's Return

Ezio P.O.V

I was close to finding my beloved and my son. They will pay greatly for humiliating me. I knew where to find them.

General Narration

Ezio sat in his white convertible as he watched Donna, Jared, and Fabiano who walked down the atreets of Jasper. He had been tailing them for two days now.

Donna P.O.V

I had know for a bit that Ezio had been tailing us. This was not good. Not only would Fabiano and I would be in trouble, but Jared would be in danger.

Jared: "Donna?"

Donna: "Yeah?"

Jared: "You coming?"

Donna: "Yeah, of course."

Jared looked back at me as he snapped me out of my thoughts. Great. I had to be on my guard. Knowing Ezio, hell try to take Fabiano and I, back with him. Fabiano was ahead of both me and Jared. I grabbed Jared's sleeve and pulled him back.

Jared: "Donna, you OK?"

Jared P.O.V

Donna pulled me back and whispered in my ear.

Donna: "It's Ezio. He's here. Behind us. White convertible."

That vile man was here!? He's got some nerve. I'll protect Donna and Fabiano with everything I've got. No matter the cost. I looked over at him with the corner of my eye. He sropped the car and got out. He walked this way. I looked over at Donna and Fabio. I went up to her and whispered in her ear.

Jared: "He's coming."

Donna: "Shit!"

Fabiano: "Mother, what's wrong?"

Donna ignored Fabiano's question and watched as Ezio came into the store.

Fabiano: "Mother!"

Ezio: "Hello my son."

Fabiano's eyes widened then narrowed. He clenched his fists as Jared and Donna did the same, watching his every move.

Jared: "So you're the one they call Ezio, huh? I'd expected you to be taller."

Ezio grinded his teeth together at Jared's remark.

Ezio: "How childish. Now, Donna. We have some things to discuss."

He said as he stepped forward and rubbed his hand across her check. Jared reacted immediately as he grabbed his wrist and shoved him a little so he didn't lay a hand on her.

Jared: "Don't you fucking touch her. You have no right."

Ezio looked at Jared in disgust and hate.

Ezio: "I have the right to touch my wife. Who are you to her?"

Jared thought quickly. He looked at Donna and placed his arm around her waist, pulling her close.

Jared: "I'm her man."

Everyone's eyes widened, especially Donna's.

Donna P.O.V

Is he crazy? He's gonna get himself killed. No one stands up to Ezio and lives to tell the tale. I looked up at him as he looked dead straight at Ezio. At that moment I noticed something I hadn't before. Jared has grown. He was tall. My head reached his shoulder. Other than that was his eyes, which held such determinarion. After that moment I decided to go along with it. I placed my hand on his back and the other on his stomach. I could feel his breathing was becoming shorter as his rage grew.

Ezio: "Donna you're a married woman. A woman married to my name. I own you."

That was all it took. Jared was pissed. He snapped.

Jared: "How dare you. She doesn't belong to you or anyone. She is a free woman. As is your son."

Ezio: "You dare speak to me that way?"

Jared P.O.V

Was this guy serious!? He dares ask me that when it is he who has caused, not only us, but Donna so much pain. On top if that, to say that Donna belonged to him. How dare he say that about Donna.

Jared: "Yeah. I fucking dare speak to that way. Because it is like saying she's a whore. And I for one, know that is not true. She's a strong and independent woman. She doesn't need a man to keep her up. She does it all on her own. She certainly doesn't need you or me. Do you understand?"

Ezio scoffed

Ezio: "Please. She started out as a weak and helpless child. She is still that child I met. She hasn't changed at all."

Jared: "You bitch. You don't even ficking know her. You took advantage of her. Why the hell am I even dealing with you. Donna, Fabio let's go."

General Narration

Jared turned on his heel and walk with Donna pretectovly in his hold. Ezio was enraged. He reached into his coat pocket and pulled put a black pistol.

Ezio: "No one turns their back on me!"

Jared turned and pushed Donna and Fabio out of the way as Ezio pulled the trigger.

(SOUND OF GUNSHOT)
