A Fallen Angel's Return

After All This Time

Jared P.O.V

We returned to the base as Ratchet and my mother welcomed us home. We nodded at them as Ultra Magnus came into the foyer. Ratchet went back to the moniters.

Ratchet: "Jared, Ancelin."

Ancelin: "What is it?"

Ratchet: "The mysterious night dweller is at it again. See if you can apprehend him this time."

Jared: "On it."

Ancelin: "What's the damage?"

Ratchet: "Terrorizing the city as always."

Magnus: "Good luck."

Arcee: "Be careful."

Jared: "We will."

Ancelin and I once again transformed and headed back into the city. Searching the dark alleys where the night dweller goes around.

Ancelin: "Jared this way. I saw something."

We went down the alley, seeing another shadow.

Ancelin: "There's two of them."

Jared: "We know you're hear night dwellers. Come out. Shadow yourself."

There was silence for a while.

???: "You two are the heros?"

???: "Not very intimidating."

A female's and male's voice.

Ancelin: "Who said we were supposed to be?"

Jared: "Show yourselves. We will not harm you."

Female: "How can you harm something if you cannot see it?"

My brother and I were suddenly hit and sent to the ground. We looked up and saw the form of the female and male. We got to our feet and prepared for a fight. The two stepped out of the shadows as we got a clearer view of them. The male was just a kid. The female was grown. The female had red hair with blue highlights. She wore black pants and a black pull over sweater with a hoodie that covered half of her head. The boy had black hair with a single red highlight and wore the same as the woman. The woman reminded of me someone, but I couldn't put my finger on it.

Female: "Come, Fabiano. Let us take out the trash."

Fabiano: "Of course mother."

We fought each other. Moments later my brother and I were pinned to the ground. I was embarrassed. As I looked up at the lady I had finally realized who she reminded me off.

Female: "Any last words?"

Jared: "Donna!?"

She gasped and her eyes widened with worry of some kind. She removed her foot from my chest and pulled the boy off of my brother. We rose to our feet and looked at her. Her eyes began to water as did ours.

Donna: "Anthony!? Jacob!?"

Fabiano: "You know these two?"

General Narration

Donna completely ignored Fabiano's question as the twins nodded. She sighed in relief as she lunged at the two hugging them. They hugged back just as tight. They all pulled away as Jared placed both hands on the side of Donna's face and pulled her head close to his lips and kissed her forehead over and over again. She chuckled and looked over at Ancelin, who did the same as his brother.

Donna: "Oh my god, I've missed you both so much."

Jared: "So did we."

Fabiano: "HELLO!?"

Everyone turned their attention to the boy who had been confused.

Donna: "Oh Anthony, Jacob this is my son. Fabiano. Fabiano these are some old friends of mine."

Ancelin: "Nice to meet you kid. You gotta strong grip for your age."

Fabiano: "Thank you. It is nice to meet you two as well. Call me Fabio for short."

Jared: "Wait a minute. He's your son?"

Donna: "Ezio took advantage of me."

Fabio: "Since the day I was born, my father did many horrible things. Killed many people, but worst of all he'd beat my mother and me."

Ancelin: "Did you fight back."

Donna: "I tried, but he always won, no matter what I tried."

Fabio: "My mother secretly trained me so we could one day escape and fight our way out. We did and been doing many things since then."

Jared: "You mean like terrorizing the city?"

Donna: "I regret it. But I did not have time for a job."

Ancelin: "I see."

There was silence.

Donna: "So how is everyone?"

Jared: "Why don't we take a walk. Well tell you all about it."

Donna nodded as the left the alley.
