I was sitting on my chair the next day in the office building, behind me were Yoshi and Shin in the place of Kairo and Hans.
I was sad that they had departed before dawn to whatever deadly mission they were given. And it was because of me...
Yoshi and Shin weren't going anywhere and if they had to, they divided the time between themselves. They made sure I wasn't alone at all unless I needed to do some urgent things...
I didn't know where had they gone and I wasn't given much information about the mission either.
There were five people including Kairo and Hans. Koji was the leader and Kondo was his second in command.
After that, Arashi ordered me to go back to our room. I came back but I wanted to tell him that it was my fault.
I didn't know why I was so worried given in that Kairo and Hans might go on some other deadly missions sooner or later since they were ranked higher after Koji and Hiroshi. It could be because I was feeling responsible for this one...
Shin said, catching my attention, "Princess Bianka, your lunch has been brought. Please eat it."
I nodded and went to the corner table as Yoshi placed the plates.
The others took a glance at me as they could feel my off putting mood. One of them whispers to another, "She certainly has some flashy way to live life..."
I scoffed. They still didn't get my words yesterday, is it?
They still talked about my back but this time they were being careful.
Mr Garo shushed the person who was talking in hushed tone and I saw Shin and Yoshi's face gotten dark as they glared at them.
They immediately stopped talking about whatever they were saying.
Yoshi and Shin was good at their jobs but I was missing Kairo and Hans more.
I guess they had become my close friends and more than that, Hans was my age while Kairo was really young. So, somehow I felt him like my little brother. He was shy on his first meeting but after that I got to know that he was cheerful, talkative and he would instantly act on his anger without thinking of anything while Hans was observant and acted after considering everything. He would get Kairo in control as well. It felt like they were brothers and Hans was taking care of his little brother and teaching him manners.
Even I felt like that toward him. I had scolded Kairo sometimes too for his recklessness. Somehow he reminded me of Touma...
And I started to miss them more.
I wasn't feeling much appetite as I ate very little and Yoshi asked, "Are you not feeling well, Princess Bianka?"
I shook my head and said, "I am fine. I'm just...not feeling my appetite today..."
They nodded as they took away the food.
I worked late at the evening even after everyone left. I wasn't feeling like going to my room since I was a bit angry and sad at Arashi.
If I went back to our room, I would have to talk to him and I didn't want to talk to him. I wanted to be alone.
As it was late at night, Shin reminded me that it was dinner time and I had to go back because Arashi had instructed them. And also, I should take enough rest as well.
I wanted to stay and bury myself to work as much as possible but if I didn't go, he would come.
I organised my table and went with them.
