1963 - First Kill
The Dark Agent and Winter Soldier had been training for months, Sokolov told them they had a special mission in the United States a few months after they got out of the ice. Hydra was now stationed in Siberia, the bunker didn't have much life in it, it was cold and dark. Workers were constantly making noise, building machines and figuring out plans; The Agent and Soldier did as they were told, with no questions asked.
Anya Ivanova was older now, it was strange to watch her change in the blink of an eye. She no longer wore glasses and her hair was now dark, but The Agent could recognize her anywhere. Anya told The Agent what she needed to do in November but The Agent wasn't sure why Hydra was getting involved in America's affairs; she wanted to ask Anya questions about the mission but knew she shouldn't. The Agent was sent to bed after the debriefing and Anya decided to look at the Caroline Rogers files. She did this a lot, it was her own strange way of attempting to clear her guilty conscience.
As soon as she opened the file she realized something, it was The Agent's birthday, November fifteenth. Anya was struck with an overwhelming sense of sadness, Anya never knew her birthday and it hurt when she realized that The Agent would never know her own either. She pulled herself together and realized a tear had fallen from her eye, Anya wasn't sure why this hurt her so bad. Why did she care so much about The Agent and Cara?
Anya shoved the papers into her desk as Sokolov opened the door, he knew she checked Cara's file constantly. He figured she'd get over the fascination with Cara's story, however, he still gave her a look telling her to drop it every time he caught her looking at the file. Sokolov's eyes did most of the talking when it came to Anya, he never really liked her, but he needed her. The director of The Red Room gave Anya to him as a gift. He accepted it even though he didn't trust a woman to be around him at all times, but she was highly trained and extremely intelligent; more than anyone else in the facility.
Sokolov talked to Anya about the mission that would arrive in a week, Anya still felt strange about the actual assignment given to The Agent and Soldier. However, Anya held little to no authority at Hydra, her only job was The Dark Agent.

The morning of the assassination arrived and The Winter Soldier and The Dark Agent climbed into the jet that was headed to America. It was November twenty second and Anya and Sokolov were with them in the jet. Anya was flying it and Sokolov was next to her, they were talking about how the plan was to be executed but The Agent knew something was off.
The Agent figured Sokolov and Anya didn't know French so she turned to The Soldier, "Am I the only one who thinks this is a strange mission?" The Soldier shrugged without even looking at her. He was always so quiet, "Come on Soldier. Not even a word?" he just rolled his eyes and looked at her, "Think about it. We have nothing to do with America, last time we were involved with them was during the World War. Their leader has done nothing to provoke us."
"Quiet back there!" Sokolov said from the front of the jet, "And stop speaking in that language."
The Soldier gave The Agent a look of warning and ignored her once again. Even though he knew she was right and that there was something off about the mission, he was set on completing it. Sokolov was his master, his enslaver, The Soldier couldn't disobey him no matter how strange the task was, "I agree with you, Agent, but we have a job to do." The Agent was shocked with his response, she hadn't heard him speak for what felt like months, "Either help me or get out of the way."
Anya made eye contact with The Agent and whispered, "Enough." The Agent was shocked that the woman knew French.

FanfictionThis story is based off events from my marvel desired reality, it is not entirely similar to the movies. Not everything is entirely accurate to that reality but it is similar (I'm putting more trauma to add the dramatic affect lol)
