Andrey Butler's Point Of View.
"What's gotten into him that he's passing so much duty today?" Ryan asks angrily and I look at the board already tired from writing so much.
"From the look on his face, he's angry with life and wants to take it out on us," David says and we laugh.
"Teacher, there are only five minutes until class is over. There won't be time for us to finish copying." I say to teacher Alexander, who stops writing on the board and turns around, looking at me with disgust.
"If the three of you stop talking and copy, it will work. Life isn't just about dating, Andrey," and the whole room, apart from Ryan and David, starts to make noises, mocking me and making me look hatefully at him.
"And what does my dating have to do with you being angry about your life and coming to school to take it out on us?" I ask angrily and the room falls silent, probably surprised by my answer.
I am tired of this idiot talking about my relationship. Every class I have with him, he gets into this thing of putting my relationship with Mad every time I talk to him. If he continues like this, I will report him to the principal.
"What did you say boy?" he raises his voice, but it doesn't frighten me.
"Andrey.." David scolds me, but I don't care.
"That's just what you heard. What does my dating have to do with you crowding the board?"
"Andrey.." and this time the one calling me is Ryan, but I again don't care, I just keep staring at the idiot standing at the front of the room.
"You want to play the bully? Then go play the bully with the principal, not with me," he points angrily at the door and I give a dry laugh. He's the one who starts it, and I'm the one who messes up?
I close my notebook angrily and put my things in my backpack, closing it and putting it on my back after getting up from my desk.
I leave the back of the room and walk to the door, which is opened by him as everyone watches the scene in silence.
"At least I'll get out of this tedious class a few minutes early," I speak as I walk past him and out of the room, seeing that by the force he closes the door, he didn't like what he heard, making me happy.
I go to the board, talk to the girl who attends to the students here, and sit down on one of the chairs to wait to be called by the principal.
"Hi baby," Mad walks into the board some minutes later and greets me with a kiss.
"Hey baby."
"Ryan and David told me you were here, but I was in Scarlet's class and you know how she always takes a time to let students out," she sits down next to me and I stare at her.
"I still prefer Scarlet to Alexander, because at least she doesn't meddle in the students' lives," I speak angrily and she looks at me confused.
"What do you mean by "at least she doesn't meddle in the students' lives"?"
"I'm here because I fought with Alexander after he put our dating into a thing that had nothing to do with it." I speak and she seems to remember something.
"I'm not even surprised. That day we fought, I had class with him and he started talking out of the blue about my dating you."
"What did he say?"
"He told me to be careful because these soccer players just want to use the girls and after they use them, they throw them away," she speaks and my anger at that teacher only increases.
"And why didn't you tell me this on the day?" I ask angrily.
"Because you were angry with me and after we made up, I forgot to tell you." And I nod my head as I think about why that man is so obsessed with this.
"I want you and Ashley to stay as far away from him as possible, okay?" I look at her seriously.
"Okay." And she strokes my hair, making me calm down. "But don't make up a fight with him again, okay? Because you're the one who's going to suffer the consequences, not him."
"Madison, come on if we're not going to be late," Bryan comes over and she agrees, looking at me right away. "What's up Andrey?" He greets me and I nod.
"Go where?" I ask already stressing myself out again. I respect their friendship, but that doesn't mean I don't feel jealous of the girl I love.
"Go to our next class, which is biology. Are you going to stay here?"
"Yes, the principal will want to talk to me." And she agrees, already getting up from her chair.
"Then I'll go there. We'll talk later."
"Okay." I speak and she lowers her face, giving me a kiss.
"Just see what you're going to talk about. Don't get dirty because of someone like that teacher," and I agree, so she flashes me that comforting smile of hers that I think is beautiful and then leaves with Bryan.
Sometimes I wonder if I am being a good and understanding boyfriend by not trying to stop her, which I have no right to, from maintaining a friendship with him, or if I am being a jerk.
I know she just wants me, but I don't know... it's not nice to see your girlfriend walking around with a guy she was once in love with.
"Mr. Butlet," Principal Williams calls out to me and I get up from my chair, walking into his office.
"Are you going to give me a warning?" I ask as soon as I sit down in one of the armchairs that stand in front of his desk.
"Do you know that this school is an example to the others in the matter of respect between students and teachers, don't you?" He says, sitting down as well, ignoring my question.
"Yes. I know."
"Then explain to me Mr. Butler why you have disrespected Professor Alexander."
"At no time did I disrespect him. I just commented that the class was ending and that there wouldn't be time for the class to finish copying that many activities he was going over."
"And you said just that?" He asks suspiciously and I deny it.
"After that, he turned to me angrily and talked about my personal life in front of the whole class. I got angry and asked him why he was doing that."
"What did he talk about?" He asks.
I think about talking about the things that have happened, but decide that this is not the ideal moment. I will see what the professor's attitudes will be in the next few days and, depending on this, I will come here with Mad to report him.
"He talked about my dating another student here, which was something that had nothing to do with what I had talked to him about."
"Got it.."
"Now I ask you, as a school that is an example to others in the matter of respect between students and teachers, do you think it is nice for a teacher to expose a student in that way?" I ironize and he looks at me more seriously than usual.
"I understand and I won't give you a warning, but please don't affront him again." And I wait for him to talk about the teacher's mistake, but I realize that he won't talk if I don't push him.
"And what will you do about what the teacher did?" He takes a deep breath before answering.
"I will ask him not to repeat what he did."
"So I hope, because my parents put me here to study and not have my privacy invaded," and I don't even wait for his answer, I just get up and leave the room.
I'm not rude, it's just that it sometimes seems that Principal Williams tries to hide the problems that happen here in order to maintain the good reputation of this school.
