Andrey Butler's Point Of View.
I stop the car in front of the school and don't see her waiting for me.
"I'm going into the school to see if she's in there. Stay here," I speak and my mother agrees, so I get out of the car and walk toward the entrance.
I enter the school and go straight to the history room, seeing Professor Alexander leaving the room when I arrive.
"Hi Andrey. What are you doing here?" He says seriously and I feel like ignoring his existence and just walking into the room to see if Mad is in it, but I think that would cause me future problems.
"Is Madison here? I came to get her," and he denies it, already making the worry grow inside me.
"No. She finished the test a while ago and left."
"Can you tell me if she was apparently okay?"
"I don't think so."
"Why?"
"Because she finished the test, left the test she was supposed to give me on the table, and left the room. She didn't even say goodbye to me," I mentally smile at what I hear. That's my girl.
"Got it.. so I'm going after her now. Bye."
"Okay," and I turn around, starting to walk towards the school's exit.
I leave the place where I study and get back into my car.
"Is she already gone?" My mother asks.
"Yes. The teacher said she left a while ago."
"What now? What are you going to do?"
"I'm going to go to her house. After I picked her up, we were going to stop by her house for her to get something to eat and then we were going to go see Anthony, so she might be there."
"Isn't it easier for you to call her and ask where she is?" And I deny it.
"It would be, but knowing her well, I know that if I call, she won't answer."
"But why do you think that? Sarah just said we were having lunch," and I look at my mother indignantly.
"If you called Dad and a woman you know is in love with him answered and said they were just having a snack, what would you think?" And she gets angry at just the chance.
"I would think he's cheating on me."
"Exactly. And what would you do?"
"I don't know what I would do exactly, but he could already consider himself a dead man," and I agree, but I really hope Mad isn't thinking that way.
"So. That's what happened in the cafeteria. And I know Sarah must have talked in a very provocative way to piss Mad off and screw me over."
"Got it... so we better go soon, before she gets out of there," and I agree, starting the car and beginning to make my way to her house.

Madison Stone's Point Of View.
Minutes go by and no one leaves or enters the room, making me more and more worried.
I think about calling my mother, but I give up the idea, because I know if I tell her what is going on, the first thing she will want to do is get me out of here and I really don't want to leave Anthony at such a difficult time as this.
I keep walking back and forth. I look at the walls, at the ceiling, at doctors leaving and entering other rooms. All to see if time will pass faster and I will get some news.
I get tired of walking around like a dizzy cockroach and sit down, picking up my cell phone to try to distract my mind, but doing this only makes me sadder as I see that Andrey has not even sent me a message to try to explain what happened earlier.
"What a phase, Madison," I think to myself.
The doctor leaves the room with the nurse and I stand up again, getting looks from both of them.
"How is he?" I ask.
"We were able to reestablish his heart rate," and I smile at what I hear.
"Great! Good!" I speak happily, already feeling a sense of relief. "Can I come in to see him?" I head towards the door, but the doctor stops me, making me strange it. "Can't I see him?"
"We're going to run some exams on him."
"What kind of exams?"
"His heart is still beating, but we don't think he's getting any electrical activity in his brain," and my smile breaks apart.
"Are you..." I swallow dryly. "Are you telling me you think he had a brain death?"
"We're not sure.. it's just a guess," and I sit back down.
"Honey, we're going to call your mother, okay? You're too young to be here," the nurse says and I deny it.
"I'm not going to leave him here like this," I say holding back tears so they don't take me away.
"Okay then, but let's go to the front desk and have them call her so she can keep you company," she says and I don't answer because I know they will do that no matter what my wishes are.
The doctor leaves, probably going to do what the nurse said they would do, and her coworker sits down next to me.
"Would you like a glass of water?"
"No, thank you."
"It's going to be okay my darling," and now I look at her denying it.
"It's not going to be okay if he dies. He is literally all I have."
"Don't think that way."
"I'm sorry, but there's no way I can think any other way," I speak and we sit in silence for quite a while. "How long will it take for them to run these exams on him and for the results to come out?"
"It will be quick," and I agree with my head.
"Your mom said she's already on her way," the doctor returns accompanied by another doctor and I agree. "Come on Karla. We're going to run the tests on him now."
The nurse gets up, excusing me and then the three of them enter the room, leaving me sitting here in this cold place, trying at all costs to hold back the tears and to think that the tests will show that his brain activity is functioning normally.
