Los Angeles, California, U.S.A.

August 8, 2022.

Madison Stone's Point Of View.

I walk into the school seeing how she looks so organized, big and pretty. I look at the big clock that hangs on one of the walls of the school and I see that I arrived a few minutes before the start of class and not late as I thought I would be, so I decide to go look for the math room as it will be my first class.

I walk into one of the hallways and I go looking for my classroom until I hear someone talking to me.

"Miss Stone!" A white man, blue-eyed, black hair and a little old says smiling. "Welcome to Royalty High School! My name is John Williams and I am the headmaster of the school, so if you need anything, you can go to my office and I will help you."

"Hi, thanks for your kindness," I say smiling back at him. "Hmm... And since you are the principal of the school, could you tell me where the math room is? Because it will be my first class."

"Oh, of course. I'm going to call someone to show you the school, wait up," he turns around, starts looking around him and calls a boy. "David, come here please," he calls the boy who come to us. "David, could you introduce the school to the new student?" He asks and this David responds kindly.

"Oh, sure. It will be a pleasure." The boy says and I need to mention that he is so much more so beautiful, his blue eyes are so captivating and his smile matches both his face well done and with his blond hair. His style makes me realize that he must be that kind of boy who plays football and who is popular.

"Thank you David." He speaks and gives a quick pause. "Then I will let you guys get to know each other. Have a nice school walk Miss Stone, it was a pleasure meeting you and I hope you enjoy the school," Mr. Williams says and leaves, not expecting even me and David to answer him.

"Well..." David starts talking and I pay attention to him. "Nice to meet you, I'm David Roberts and I will show you the school." He talks and gives a cute smile.

"Nice to meet you David." I speak and we greet each other with a handshake. "I'm Madison Stone."

"So come on Madison, I'll show you around the school and I guarantee you will like it." And he gives a small smile, but then starts to walk, making me follow him.

"Um... David, are you a sophomore?" I ask trying to strike up a conversation with him.

"Yes, I am. And what about you?"

"I am too."

He stops in front of a room, making me stop too. "Umm... this is the lab. I can't tell you much about this class, because it's one of the ones I least pay attention to..." he says and I get closer to the door, put my eyes on the transparent part of the lab door and I see the teacher explaining something on the board, while the students silently pay attention to her.

"Oh, okay! It's not going to be hard for me to pay attention, because I like lab classes."

"You are saying that because you haven't met her yet. She is really annoying and just because she is like that, her class seems like three hours long."

"Geez, what did she do to make you think she is so annoying?" I take my eyes off the door and direct them to David.

"She is unnecessarily ignorant to students, she complains about everything. It's a test of endurance to stay in her class," and I laugh at his last sentence.

"Got it... now I'm even discouraged with the lab classes here, since I haven't even attended any yet," I say disappointed and he gives a laugh. A cute laugh. "Where are we going now?"

"I will finish showing you the other rooms, then the court, the library, the auditorium, and finally I will drop you off at your next class, because you are probably going to miss your first schedule." He says and I agree.

Some time later...

"What's up? What did you think of the school?" David asks me after he is finished showing me school.

"I really liked." And it's true, David showed me several places besides the ones he had said he would show me. I even saw the place where the boys and girls at school kiss.

"It makes me happy because it shows that I'm a great tour guide," he brags and I laugh.

"Oh, sure." I say smiling.

"But now unfortunately I'm going to have to drop you off at your history class which is your next schedule, right?" I agree and he accompanies me to the room.

When we get to the front of the room I stop and thank him for helping me and apologize for making him miss class, being answered by him saying:

"All right, I enjoyed helping you get to know the school and I hope we can have more opportunities to talk."

"Oh, I also hope we have more opportunities to talk," and as soon as I'm done speaking, the doorbell rings and students start to leave the rooms. "Um... I think I will enter the room now. Thanks again and good class!" I say with a smile and he smiles back in agreement.

"Okay, I will go to mine too, because my next schedule is lab and like I told you, the teacher is boring and doesn't allow delays," and I laugh again at the way he gets indignant when he talks about this teacher. "Good class. See you around." He says and walks away and I walk into the classroom.

As soon as I walk into the room and see that there is no teacher, I go straight to the back and I sit at one of the tables there.

A very pretty girl enters the room and comes towards me. She looks at me and sits on the desk behind mine, nudging my back shortly after, making me turn around to see what she wants.

"Hi girl. What's your name?" The brunette girl asks me.

"Hi. My name is Madison... Madison Stone and yours?"

"Ashley Owens..." what a beautiful name. "You are a new student, aren't you?" She asks and I agree.

"Yes, I didn't study here, it's my first day at this school."

"Where did you go to school?"

"Justice High School," I say and she looks at me in a different way.

"They say it's a good school. How long were you there?" Ashley asks.

"One year."

"And why did you change schools?"

"Because they say Royalty is better than Justice."

"Yeah, that's true." She speaks and we stand for a few seconds in uncomfortable silence. "Do you know anyone from here?" She breaks the silence and I am grateful for that.

"No, so far I've only talked to you and a blond boy with blue eyes called David, I don't know if you know him."

"Everyone knows him," she says and I am not surprised, I just see that my impression of him was right. "He's the captain of the school's football team and he's handsome. Just don't fall in love with him, because he dates the captain of the cheerleading squads and he is completely in love with her." Now I got surprised.

"Don't worry, he just showed me around the school."

"So ok, I just wanted to warn you, because there are so many girls around this school who are in love with him and suffer because he dates."

"Wow, so he really does success at this school."

"Of course, handsome the way he is," she says and I laugh.

"Do you like him too?" I ask because the way she said it, it sounds like it.

"No!" She responds as if I have offended her. "I just acknowledge the fact that he's handsome." She says and I agree. "By the way, he.." and she was going to speak something else, but the teacher comes into the room and she stops. "At break time I will tell you."

"Ok." I say and turn around to pay attention to the white man, half bald, half potbellied and who looks to be about 52, 53 years old.
