I didn't expect this night to be this beautiful, well I have to admit, he made me happy for the very first time in life.

"How's the food?" He asked

"It's very delicious and boy was I hungry?" I said shyly chuckling

"I'm glad you like it, I thought you'd hate this whole idea and not agree to come with me"

"Why would you think that?" I asked

" Well, it's something you like doing, declining my requests until I order you or even threaten you that's when you get to do it"

I kept silent cause he was kinda right about that I just don't trust him

"Oh, I'm sorry" I said looking down at my plate

" it's okay, just finish up your food....I know it's still too much for you, you hate me and still have to do this entire thing, I understand and I'm sorry but I just need your help" he said looking more sincere than ever

Okay whoever cast a spell on him did a wonderful job, he's so calm and different from the Vegas I know.

"Yea, I know...You don't have to keep reminding me, we'll soon get done with this and go separate ways though I might still work for you but still things will go back to normal"

I said somehow feeling a sharp pain in my chest. The words I said seemed to stab me deeper than I thought, I didn't know whether I was now feeling something for this man.
No Amanda that's impossible it can never happen just snap out of it.

"Maybe but we don't know what the future holds" he said wiping his lips with a napkin

A few minutes later we were taking a walk in the sand next to the water, it was so cooling. The wind blowing through my hair and finally i understand why he didn't want me to change my outfit cause this was such a comfy atmosphere for just a pair of sweat pants and a Tshirt.

"Do you like beaches?"  He asked

"I love beaches" I enthusiastically responded

"My Dad and mom used to take my little sisters and I to the beach every weekend and we would collect all kinds of rocks and shells and make a collection of them at home" I continued

"Oh I see, what a wonderful memory"

"What's your favourite childhood memory?" I asked as we kept walking

He took a deep sigh "I don't have any favourite memories" he plainly said

"What! Come on I'm sure you do everybody has some" I insisted

"Well, not me....when growing up my father didn't let me play any games like other kids, I was always taken on business trips, conferences, and contract signing stuff. My father always wanted to prepare me as the next heir of GDB corporation so he didn't want me wasting time with games" he coldy narrated

"What about at school?" I asked sadly

"Hahaha, I was home schooled caused my father thought public schools were a waste of too much time and a pure distraction because of the other kids who had no potential...my only friends were Alex and Irma since our parents were business partners"

"Wow, what a terrible childhood history" I said

"Well, it kind of took away my right as a child to be able to do what makes me happy but also made me the intelligent and successful person I am today so win win" he coldly said

"I guess, but does it make you happy?"

He kept silent and stopped in his tracks, we stood there as he looked down at the sand
