My alarm had to go off as Closure by Summer Walker played. I stretched but realized the figure that slept with me last night was nolonger there.

"Where did he go? Is he at work already? But it's just 6:00am" I said as I rubbed my eyes again before I slowly walked over to my bathroom and washed my face then brushing my teeth.

I then went downstairs to the kitchen and found a platter covered and  a bouquet of fresh roses on my table.

"Who brought these here?" I grabbed the roses and found a small note inside



Good morning beautiful
I had to wake up early for work and I figured you'd be too tired to cook so I, made you breakfast. You work so hard and you need to eat enough food.

A smile crept up on my face as I read the note.
He's so sweet.



He even made me breakfast. Looks so delicious. I immediately ran upstairs and grabbed my phone.

I decided to text him to say thank you for the roses and the breakfast. Makes me feel so special but when did he wake up for him to be able to do all this without me knowing.

Oh well he has his ways.

I sat down and started eating right away and gosh he has always been a good cook. Everything is just so delicious.

I gulped down some juice before heading for a shower. I got to leave in something like about an hour and it wasn't alot.

"Hey Amanda are the statistics files with you?" A co worker asked

"Let me check" I said and walked over to the drawers to check

"I'm sorry Leilani they aren't here,why do you need them?" I asked

"Mr. Salvador requests for them ASAP" she said with a small hint of worry

"Have you tried asking his assistant?" I asked

" no, Oh my God I'm gonna be fired, he's going to be so furious" she said while she paced around in my office

"Calm down Leila, you're gonna be okay. He won't fire you" I said

But I wasn't 100% sure cause he also one time almost fired me actually he fired me only for Steve to help.
It's been long since I saw him something like 3 to 4 months wow.

"What makes you so sure?" She asked

She has a point what makes me so sure anyway.

"I'll talk to him" I said and she just stared at me

She was in doubt but agreed anyway and with that she left.

"I think I may have misplaced the statistics file, I'm sorry. I'm ready to take up any punishment" I said while facing the ground

"This isn't like you, you're never careless about anything and you have never lost anything" he said calmly but curiously

"I don't really understand either" I said still looking at the ground

He kept silent for a bit and I was sure he was staring at me.
