Why him?

"Please don't go"

I sat infornt of a mirror as a lady worked on my hair, then somebody blocked my view of the mirror and started applying make up on my face. This was really weird they were acting like I was going to get married tonight and yet it was just some gala.

"Sweetie that gala is important you know it....flank it up and you'll end up behind bars with a bald head" my inner voice said to me making me shiver in fear. She was right a hundred percent.

"Erm I think that's enough" I said putting on a nervous smile on the girl working on my face. She then looked down at me with a smile on her face

"Look Madam, your husband asked us to do this, and he wants you to look more than a queen tonight so I'll have to use all my skills to work on you." She said holding my chin gently, I just nodded and she kept going.

I wasn't even seeing myself so I don't know what she was doing to my face. The lady working on my hair suddenly got done and I was so eager to have a look maybe I could be abit more patient.

When the make up artist was done working on my face, I took a look at myself in the mirror I just couldn't believe it was me. I looked so different and soo beautiful.
"Do you like it" the hair dresser asked smiling at me through the mirror, I then turned to her and said

"Yes, I love it thank you" I said to the both of them  as they smiled back and left, then a maid came to me

"Madam, please come with me and pick your gown for tonight" a girl with brown hair tied up in a ponytail said

My bed had 5 different dresses just lying there waiting for me to choose, gosh they all looked so beautiful, the colours, designs wow.
I was going for the blue dress with silver pendants on the hems but then the sparkling diamond dress caught my attention, it was sexy and beautiful......I'm sue it'd look amazing on me.

Once they got done with my nails, I suddenly felt thirsty with all the panic and had a maid bring me a glass of water. I was so nervous I could faint.
I'm sure Isabelle has dressed into something huge like she's gonna get married or something pssh. Well I better get dressed and go downstairs to lots of investors, CEOs from different companies and worst of all Vegas' parents

I slowly descended the stairs as all the guests turned to face my direction, I got sight of Vegas who looked rather stunned. Isabelle just couldn't stop glaring at me. It gave me some kind of joy that I beat her at this round.

Once I totally down all those stairs, Vegas walked up to me and let out a hand as I smiled and placed mine onto his. He led the way as we walked up to some big red curtains, it looked kinda like a podium but room size.

"Ladies and Gentlemen, I welcome you all to this grand gala where It brings me great pleasure to  introduce you to my beloved wife Mrs. Amanda Salvador" he said as everyone clapped greatly

"Before I officially open up this wonderful evening, allow a few words from my beloved wife" he said, wait what? I didn't prepare any words either few or many I have none. God everyone was now looking at me, why didn't he inform me that I had to give some speech.

"Just say whatever comes to your mind" he whispered into my ears, I gulped and slowly walked up to the microphone as all the guests applauded
The mansion was full of alot of important people, and obviously I had nothing official for them.

"Allow me express my greatest gratitude to you all for attending this beautiful evening, as we all come here to celebrate 19 years of Mr. Salvador's success and also welcome my dear In-lawsback from Tokyo" I said as my words were followed by a round of applause

"I'm sure we still have more obstacles ahead of us but I'm sure together we can face and overcome them if we co-operate. My husband is indeed a hard working man, he's intelligent and no matter what he always gets a solution for what ever problem that will occur. And I'm sure he'll keep moving forward with all your support at large. I don't have much to say but with these few words allow me end here" I said and left the stage to where Vegas was standing as guests applauded
