Don't leave

"I can't do this anymore Sadie" you say with your backpack in your hand with clothes inside

"Y/n p-please don't leave me...I love you" Sadie says while crying

"..but I don't" you say facing the door

"W-what? What do y-you mean you don't"

"Dating you was the biggest mistake i have ever made. I am glad that it is over" you say coldly and turn around to face her

She starts to cry even more. You can tell that she is going to break down soon but you are not doing anything

"..n-no. it c-can't end like t-..this. Y/n please" Sadie cries her whole body is shaking and her voice cracking

Sadie has never felt that hopeless and broken. She wants to fight for your relationship but when she sees your cold face without any emotions or regret she doesn't know what to do

You don't want to make it worse so without any other words you leave the house

When you close the door Sadie breaks down. She is crying out her eyes and every memory of you together is playing in her head. But from now the only moment she will remember is you leaving. She has never thought that she would ever watch you leaving

*Boom*

The loud thunder can be heard and Sadie opens her eyes in shock, she sits up

"Sadie?" You say behind her with a tired voice

You hear that Sadie is breathing heavily and she didn't hear you

"Sadie" you say again. Now fully awake put your hand on her back

Your touch makes her turn to you and you can see her terrifying eyes with tears in it

You immediately pull her into a tight hug and rub her back

You feel her arms tightly wrapped around you. Her head is buried into your shoulder and you can hear a little sobbing

"Sadie it was just a nightmare" you whisper and continue to draw shapes on her back

"I am here" you say

"Don't leave me Y/n" she says to your shoulder as her grip becomes stronger

You pull away and look into her eyes full of tears

"I will never leave you Sades. I promise" you say and kiss her forehead

You wrap your arms around her again

"Do you think that you will fall asleep?" You ask carefully

Sadie nods into your shoulder

You then pull away a little move yourself backwards, lean on the headboard of the bed and open your arms for Sadie. She crawls into your arms and fills empty space between you

You feel a a strong grip around you so you place your hands on Sadie's back and rub it slowly. After that, her grip loosens a little. You know that she can fall asleep now. She is calm now

Until the next thunder. Her whole body tenses and her grip around you is now much stronger than before. You instinctively put your one hand on Sadie's head and run your fingers through her hair

"Hey hey...Sadie, i am here. It's okay" you say and try to calm her down

Sadie tries to close her eyes and fall asleep but when she does she sees that dream. That moment when you were leaving the house

She immediately opens her eyes and looks at you. You have closed eyes but you are not sleeping. When you feel Sadie's head lifts up from your chest you open your eyes and look at her. She is crying again

"Sadie..what happened"you say as you sit up with her

"I-I had a d..dream" she says sobbing

"What dream Sadie?" You ask and move a little forward to Sadie

"Y-you were leaving...you said that..that dating me was t-the biggest mistake you have e..ever done. You said that you have never loved me..a-and....you just left" she says while the tears are rolling down her face

You take her face into your hands and wipe her tears away

"I will never leave you, Sadie. I love you..I love you so much Sades. And dating you is the best thing i have ever done. Do you hear me? The best thing" you say looking deeply into her eyes

"But...it was so realistic. It was y-you" she says

"No. It wasn't me because i love you" you say and rub her cheek with your thumb

"I love you Sadie. Okay?"

Sadie nods slowly and you pull her into a slow kiss

Sadie pulls out first and looks down

"Do you think...can we stay awake?" Sadie asks not looking into your eyes

"Of course Sadie" you say even though it's a little after midnight and you are tired as hell but you can't just leave Sadie like this and go to sleep

You get up from the bed take the TV remote control and give it to Sadie

"I am going to make tea and you will pick some good film okay?" You say with a warm smile and weird tone

She giggles at you and takes the controller from your hand

You then run away to make a cup of tea for you two

When you come back with one big cup you see Sadie wrapped tightly in the blanket

"Teeeaa is heree" you whisper and carefully give the cup to Sadie

"Thank you Y/n/n" she says with a smile

You smile back and give her a feeling of comfort

You crawl back under the blanket and lean on the headboard of the bed. You open your arms a little for Sadie and without thinking she immediately jumps into your warm arms

After you two finish the cup together you put the cup down next to the bed on the nightstand

Twenty minutes go by and you feel Sadie's grip loosen around you and her breathing is slower. You look at her and you see her peacefully sleeping in your arms

You turn off the tv and hug Sadie with your other hand and eventually fall asleep too

Just imagine Sadie sleeping
