After that one night, it has been really weird and awkward between you both. Firstly Sadie didn't come to school for two days. Lucy went to her house to check up on her but every time it was the same. Sadie is not ready to face you. To see your face after she told you about her nonexistent partner

To be honest, she doesn't know what to expect from you. Hate. Sadness. Disappointment. Or not care at all. Sadie knows she loves you but she is scared of giving you another chance. But at the same time, she can't be without you. It hurts

It's Wednesday morning and Sadie is in her bed not wanting to get up and go to school again. But what she isn't expecting is a knock on the door. Sadie ignores it at first but then after a few more knocks she manages to get up and opens the door revealing Lucy with her backpack. Without a word, the brunette goes into Sadie's room

"what are you doing here?" Sadie asks as she closes the door and follows her friend

"i have to get you ready for school. You can't stay home another day just because of Y/n" Lucy says and opens the closet and goes through some clothes

"pointless. I am staying here" Sadie says and sits on her bed but Lucy throws some clothes on her "what about this?" the brunette says but looks for more

"Sadie..is this" Lucy says and turns to Sadie with a grey hoodie

The ginger looks up and nods sadly

"i can't believe you still have her hoodie. All this time. God girl, you have a problem" Lucy says and shakes her head as she puts the hoodie back in the closet

"wait" Sadie says and gets up from the bed taking the hoodie and looking at it

"what?"

"fine. I am going to school. I have to tell Y/n the truth" Sadie says and Lucy smiles "that's my girl"

When the girls arrive it's already late because Sadie took forever to get ready. So instead of searching for you they immediately make their way to their class. You have a different lesson than them now. Actually, almost every subject today except for English

After a few lessons, it's a lunch break. Sadie takes her stuff and with Lucy, she goes to put her books in the locker. As they walk through the hallway you walk past them. As soon as Sadie spots you she gets scared, sad, and guilty as she thinks about that night. You look at her but don't show any emotions and just continue walking

"don't worry about it. You both need time" Lucy says trying to calm Sadie down and drags her to their lockers

Sadie goes with her but only thinks about your cold face. It makes her think and doubt. Were you lying? Again. Do you really love her? This all spins around in her head as the girls finally get to their lockers. Sadie sadly opens it and puts her books in

After the lunch break ends Lucy and the redhead go to their class together. For the rest of the day, Lucy can notice how sad Sadie is. She isn't paying attention to anything. It's clear that she is just in her head. Lucy decides to let her be and focus on school

After school ends Lucy suggests walking Sadie home but she rejects. Sadie tells her that she is going somewhere but when Lucy asks her she stays silent and the brunette just nods and goes home alone

Sadie climbs on the school roof where you went together almost every day after school. She sits on the edge of the building and looks at the sky. It's already late and the sun can be seen just from a part. The sky is decorated with orange colors

Sadie is watching the sunset while sitting and thinking about you and everything that happened between you two. But also it's a quiet moment for Sadie to clear her head
