Timeline is after season 3 and season 4 didn't happen

You have a very strong friendship with Max. You were the first person who came to Max when she moved here and from that day you have been practically inseparable

You know how is it at her home. That's why Max comes to your house so often. You always welcome her and let her sleep there

You can say that you are more than best friends but less than lovers. You feel like you want to change it. You want to ruin your friendship and her girlfriend. You want it but don't at the same time

You don't know what you feel. You confused yourself every time you see her or think about it. But you are sure that she doesn't want it. She wants you to be her supportive and crazy friend like always

Like i said you were there for her from the beginning of her life in Hawkins, but what happened now was the last thing

After that what happened in the mall, where Billy died and where you almost died too your parents decided to move to another city

They of course don't know what exactly happened. They just know that you were close and the thought that you could die made them terrified so they decided to move

They told you about it yesterday and you are moving in two days. You were protesting of course and you still do but there is no point in it. It's useless

Today is not school so you don't know how to say it to everyone. Everyone is upset because of what happened and because Will and El are moving in a few days too

And plus you know how much it will break Max. It's not easy for you either. You don't know how to say it to her

It's almost midnight when you are thinking about how to tell Max that you are moving. You can't just say it. Maybe it will be better if you don't say it at all

You jump out of the bed and go to your desk. You don't care that it's the middle of the night. You turn on your lamp on the desk and find your pen

You are thinking for a while and finding the right words. You take a deep breath and start writing

You finish the letter and fold it in half. You don't think twice and dress up. You slowly go to the front door and put on your shoes

When you are out of your house you grab your bike and go to her house

You go to her window and knock slightly on the glass. After a few seconds, Max appears on the other side of the window

"Hi" she says as she opens the window

"Hi" you say with a fake smile

"What's wrong?" Max says carefully

Of course, she knows. You are friends for so long she knows when you are lying

"Can i sleep here tonight?" You ask

"Of course come inside" she says and helps you through the window

She is not that typical sarcastic Max. She knows that something is wrong and that makes you feel more sad and guilty

"Are you okay?" May says and puts her hand on your back
