Today is Sadie coming back from the county where she was filming for two months

Two months is not that much in your relationship. You were without each other much longer but this time it's different. It was "only" two months but so many things happened during that time

You are on the bathroom floor. In the corner which is at the end of the room. Next to you is a knife from the kitchen which you took when you got home

*flashback*

"Y/NNN" your friend yells next to you while you are driving

You look forward and see a car in front of you

*end*

It hurts so much you could do something. Your hands are shaking...no. Your whole body is shaking

As your mind is playing the next flashback from that day you can't anymore. You grab the knife again and place it on your arm. You have blurry vision from tears. You do the next cut and you are paying attention to that blood and not to that memory

You hear small steps in the house but you are ignoring it. Steps are getting closer until it stops

"Y/n? Are you here?" Sadie says as she drops her suitcase

Then she hears you crying in the bathroom. She goes to the bathroom door and slowly opens it

"Y/n? What happe—" she stops right when she sees you on the floor

Your left arm is covered in your blood from cuts. Knife in your shaking hand and your puffy eyes and face from crying. You are pressed against the wall as much as you can and your knees are as close as possible

Sadie rushes to you and your body tenses. She sees that so she slows down and when your girlfriend reaches you she kneels down next to you

Sadie takes your right hand and slowly takes the knife

"It's okay Y/n i am here okay" she whispers as she gets the knife completely away from you

She takes that knife away and takes a lot of paper tissues. Sadie goes to you again and puts them on your arm. You jump a little from that contact but relax again after a while

"Y/n love, can you hold it for a second?" Sadie says carefully

You put your shaking hand on your arm and hold it. Sadie then runs away for a bandage. She is back as soon as she can and wraps your arm

You were holding back your tears and emotions all the time but now you let it all out. Your tears start to roll down your cheeks fast and you collapse into your girlfriend's comforting arms. After not a second you feel her arms tightly around you

"I-i am so-rry" you let out

But you feel Sadie's hand on your head and the tips of her fingers in your hair

"Shhh..Y/n i am here" she says and kisses your head

"It will be okay. I am here and i love you" she says again and strokes your hair carefully

"I am sorry-... it's all m–my fault" you say with a cracking voice

"It's not. It's not Y/n. Don't think about it" she says

Sadie's eyes start to water up from the sight of you but she is holding it back. She needs to be strong and here for you and not break down too

Your eyes are shut and you have a strong grip on Sadie's sweatshirt

*flashback*

"Y/N—" your name is the last thing you hear

You wake up after a while and you are in shock. Your body is shaking extremely. You look around and realize that you are in your car

Your head is pounding and you are starting to remember. You look at your friend next to you

Your eyes widen when you see his head covered in blood. His closed eyes and much blood around

You open your mouth but nothing comes out

*end*

The last thing you remember from that day is a woman telling you that you were lucky. Much luckier than your friend

'he didn't make it. I am sorry'

When you play those words again your grip gets stronger and it is harder to breathe now

Sadie notices it and pulls you away from her body

"Y/n. Y/n look at me" she says

But you are keeping your eyes closed and trying to breathe. You are still in the car

"Y/N..look at me" she repeats louder

This time you listen to her and open your eyes full of tears

"If happened anything it's not here anymore. You are with me" she says

"You need to breathe Y/n. Come on breathe with me. Focus on me" she says and takes your hand into hers

She starts to breathe and you slowly join her

"That's it Y/n" she says and continues

After an hour you calm down

After two weeks of tears and nightmares and nights without sleep, you tell Sadie everything that happened when she was away

When you finish she pulls you into a tight hug

"I am sorry Y/n" she says

"I missed you so much" you mumble into her shoulder

"I know Y/n,...i am sorry" she says as she pulls away and looks into your eyes

"But i am here now okay? I am here for you" she says. You nod in response and then Sadie kisses your forehead and pulls you into a hug again
