JUNGKOOK POV

I smiled when the world came back to me in the early morning hours and I realized that the warm body pressed against
mine was my mate.

Jimin had claimed me just as I had claimed him, Our bond had been forged for all of eternity and I never had to give him up.

That knowledge brought tears to my eyes, so I buried my face in the hair at the nape of Jimin's neck, hiding my weakness.

No one had ever affected me
like Jimin did.

That was good and that was bad.

I would give the world for him but I would also fight the world for him.

I seriously doubted the man knew he had that much power over me.

If anything ever happened to Jimin, no one would be safe.

When Jimin started to stir, I quickly wiped my eyes and plastered a smile on my face.

He had one on his face too when he turned to look at me but it quickly faded away.

"What's wrong?"

"Nothing." I replied instantly.

"Why do you ask?"

"Because you have that fake plastic smile on your face."

I snorted out a laugh. "You caught me."

"So, what's wrong then?"

"Nothing really."

"I was just thinking that now
that we have claimed each other, there isn't much in this world I wouldn't give to you, make
sure you had or kill for you."

"Oh." Jimin's eyes widened.

"Well, let's hope it doesn't come down to the killing thing."

"That could get messy quick."

"It could."

"Did we get a mind link?"

My smile grew into a real one when I heard Jimin's voice in
my head.

"We did kitten." I replied just
as silently.

And the tears were back.

"Sorry." I whispered.

"I have no idea what you must be thinking of me."

I hadn't cried since I was a
small child.

Jimin reached up and wiped them away with his fingertips.

"That's one of the things about mates Jungkook, They never
hold anything between them."

"They just accept each other
as they are."

I knew what Jimin was saying
and I was grateful for his words.

I knew I could trust him.

He was my mate after all.

"How about some breakfast?"

"Shower first." Jimin wrinkled
his nose.

"I have dried cum in some
very interesting places."

"But I had so much fun

"Fine." He said as he rolled to
the side of the bed and sat up.

"But if you want to put it there again, you'd better come scrub my back."

"Can't remember when I've had a better offer." I said as I followed him into the shower.
