"Hyunjin? Hyunjinnn~wake up!" A voice called out as Hyunjin opened his eyes.
Right. He was on a bus. With Seungmin.
"Woah, good morning," Seungmin smirked. "are you okay? You look like shit right now."
He was right. Hyunjin was an absolute mess. He didn't brush his hair, making it ruffle up like a nest. On top of that, his eyes were swollen and he could barely keep them open.
"Huh? Yeah, I'm okay." Hyunjin just shrugged, placing his head back on his arm.
They then heard sounds of running footsteps and what sounded like a crash.
"COMING THROUGH! WATCH OUT, PEOPLE!" A voice yelled that Hyunjin knew too well as the black-haired hid his face in his palms.
"Hyung! Hyung! Hyung!" A boy approached Hyunjin, tugging on his sleeve.
"What, Ni-Ki." The older asked tiredly, raking his fingers through his hair and trying his best to stay awake.
"Guess what? Jungwon is transferring today!"
"Who?"
"My gosh, are you dumb? Jungwon!"
"Huh." Hyunjin wasn't really paying attention to the conversation to be honest.
"Nevermind." Ni-Ki rolled his eyes as he let go of the older's sleeve and started walking away.
As if things couldn't get more chaotic, they heard even more crashes and a yell from the other side of the bus. (a/n: seriously, how big is this bus??)
"NISHIMURA RIKI! WHERE THE FUCK ARE YOU?!" A female voice shouted.
"SHIT," Ni-Ki screamed. "HYUNG, HIDE ME. YEJI'S COMING FOR ME."
"You're on your own." Hyunjin stated, resting his head in his arms once again in an attempt to get some more sleep, although it would be impossible if Ni-Ki stayed.
"DAMN YOU, HYUNG!" The younger yelled before booking it to the other side of the bus.
Seungmin just bursted into laughter after the blonde boy left. "Your family is pretty chaotic, huh?"
Hyunjin groaned, "Yeah, it is. It feels like there's more siblings when there's actually only two."
"Next stop, Campbell Academy!" the bus driver yelled behind them.
"Well, this is our stop." Seungmin tapped on Hyunjin's shoulder. "Just don't fall asleep in class."
"No promises." Hyunjin grumbled and Seungmin laughed.
But really, Hyunjin felt like he was going to pass out from exhaustion. It wasn't because of how long he stayed on the call with Felix—maybe it was, but he just couldn't fall asleep after that. Felix's voice still remained inside his head, and he couldn't get it out. His heavenly laugh, his cute giggle whenever Hyunjin joked, wait, why was he thinking about this again?
~~~~~~~~~~~> TIME SKIP
"Hey, Hyunjin!" Bang Chan yelled as he ran towards the said boy.
"Hey." Hyunjin greeted, tiredness definitely alive in his voice.
"Oh boy," Bang Chan scanned the boy, noticing how bad he looked. "what happened to you?"
"...Nothing." the younger lied.
"Hyunjin, I've known you for five years. I can tell when something's up."
