Felix was really confused, to say the least. Not because of what happened today or why it happened, he was confused, on Etsy.
He had been searching up "Gifts for my boyfriend" for hours now, but nothing that came up seemed right. Nothing seemed perfect.
That was until something caught his eye.
It was a ring set. 2 rings per person, but although it was a friendship ring, he's sure it could pass for a couple ring too, right?
He was in luck, because the rings were estimated to ship overnight, so he could give them to Hyunjin tomorrow morning.
A squeal of happiness escaped his lips as he ordered the rings.
Now, all he had to do was wait.

Felix woke up with a smile on his face as per usual, but this time it was brighter than ever.
He hopped out of bed, not even bothering to freshen up as he was overwhelmed with excitement built up from the entire night.
He opened the door and saw a small package waiting for him. He picked it up, and skipped back to his room.
The rings were as beautiful as he imagined them to be.
And he couldn't wait to give them to Hyunjin.

"Felix!" the blonde heard someone call.
"Hey, Hyunjin!" he pulled the older into a hug, leaving a peck on his cheek.
"...Lix?" the other asked, realizing that the other wasn't moving.
"Huh? Oh! Yeah, I, uhm-" the younger stuttered, pulling a small pouch out of his bag.
The long-haired stared at it for a second before eventually taking it.
He opened the pouch and pulled out the two rings. They felt smooth and cold in his hand.
He then overestimated the situation and panicked.
"Felix, I--uhm, this is-"
"I'm not proposing to you, idiot. Not yet, at least." Felix mumbled that last sentence. "They're couple rings."
Hyunjin processed the situation before pulling his lover by the shirt collar and enveloping his lips in a kiss.
"Felix wrapped his arms around Hyunjin's neck as the older snaked his arm around the blonde's waist, bringing him closer.
"I love them, Felix. Thank you."
Felix just smiled in response as he was caught in a daze. Whenever they kissed, he felt weightless. Like he could float away. He never wanted this moment to stop.
But then everything started to go downhill. And boy, was it about to be a steep ride.

ik that Hyunjin was the one who gave Felix the rings, but it wouldn't go well with the story if I made it like that. sorry.
