Chapter 21 - Another Ring?

Felix and Hyunjin walked out of the room hand-in-hand, smiles wide on their faces.

Yoongi looked up from his phone, smiling at the sight.

"So what happened in there?"

"N-Nothing important." Hyunjin stuttered.

"Oh, be quiet, baby." Felix gave the taller a quick peck on his cheek.

Hyunjin blushed a bright shade of red at the sudden boldness of his boyfriend.

"Okay, lovebirds. Let's go pick up Jungwon and Ni-Ki from Lotte World."

Hyunjin's eyes widened as his jaw dropped.

"I LEFT THEM THERE FOR THAT LONG? OH SHIT."

"Calm down, Hyunjin. They're fine." Yoongi rubbed his temples, feeling as if he was about to get a headache from his son.

"What? But isn't Jungwon..."

"Let's just say a miracle happened, or something like that."

Hyunjin blinked, followed by many others as he stared at the elder in confusion.

"Sorry, what?"

Yoongi facepalmed.

"Nothing. Anyway, Felix, want Hyunjin to take you home? After we pick up Ni-Ki and Jungwon, though. And I have my own car, so I'll just drive home myself."

"Sure!" the blonde smiled.

"Great! Then see you guys later, I guess."

Hyunjin eyed the two younger boys as they entered the car.

"Hi, Riki. Hi...Jungwon."

"Hey, Hyunjin! Nice to see you again. And by the way, how is Felix doing? I haven't seen him since I was last at your guys's house." the brown haired said.

Hyunjin stumbled on his words at the younger's statement.

"W-Well, he's right there." he pointed to the oldest blonde in the car.

"Hi!" Felix waved.

"Hi!" Jungwon exclaimed. "Man, I can't believe it's been so long..."

"Since what?" the oldest teen asked.

"Y'know, since I remembered."

"Oh, you remember? Like, you don't have amnesia anymore...?"

"Yup!"

"But how? How is that possible-"

"Well..." Jungwon turned to Ni-Ki, who just blushed and turned away. "You can thank your brother."

Hyunjin clutched his heart dramatically.

"AWWWW! Please tell me ya'll kissed."

Jungwon nodded proudly, earning a punch in the arm from Ni-Ki.

"OH MY GODDDD! My lil' bro is all grown up."

"SHUT UP." Ni-Ki hid his face behind his hands.

"Don't be shy, Riki! I wanna see your cute face!" Jungwon giggled, trying to pry Ni-Ki's hands off the other's face.

"Noooooo..." Ni-Ki whined.

"YA'LL ARE SO CUTE I CAN'T-" Hyunjin squealed at his brother and his friend. "Wait, so are you guys dating yet?"

Jungwon and Ni-Ki exchanged embarrassed looks.

"I-I mean if he's up to it, I guess—"

Ni-Ki's sentence was cut off by the brown-haired placing a small kiss on his cheek, flustering him immensely.

"I'll love to be yours, Riki."

Hyunjin shot a smirk to Felix that said 'this is getting good', as the blonde nodded, interest visible on his face.

"J-Jungwon, not here, p-please!"

The said boy rolled his eyes.

"Fineeeee."

When they got to Felix's house, Hyunjin stepped outside with his boyfriend.

"Now you two stay here, okay?" he whispered to the two younger boys who gave mischievous nods in return.

"I'll be back. Riki, do you have it?"

The blonde smirked.

"Been saving it for a while."

Ni-Ki then threw a silver piece of metal which Hyunjin then caught, rolling it around in his palm.

FLASHBACK - HYUNJIN

-YESTERDAY-

"Is this good? Hyunjin asked, pointing to a small gold ring.

Yoongi shook his head no.

"Nah. Too flashy."

"Okay?" Hyunjin shrugged. "This?"

"Nope, too basic. You want something that screams 'marry me', not 'go to prom with me'."

"Hey, shut up. Prom isn't for another two months."

"Not my fault you wanted to get engaged at 17."

"Jees, okay. How abo-"

Hyunjin laid his eyes on a small silver ring, that, to his eyes, hit the sunlight just perfectly, while keeping that just right darkness that you couldn't notice right away.

"Is that the one?" Yoongi walked up to him, smiling.

"It's perfect." Hyunjin said.

END OF FLASHBACK

He found a small, black box in his backpack, which he carefully inserted it into.

This was the time.

He took a deep breath, and turned towards Felix.

Here we go. he thought.

The two new boyfriends then watched as Hyunjin ran towards his lover, snaking his arms around Felix's waist.

"Hey, baby." he smiled.

"Hey." Felix touched Hyunjin's hands which rested on his torso.

"Felix." the long haired moved in front of the blonde, confusing him.

He didn't know what his boyfriend was pulling, until he noticed him get onto one knee.

"Oh, shit." Felix gasped.

"Lee Felix," Hyunjin began. "you are the most beautiful, caring, smart, and just overall amazing person I have ever met. I promise to stay by your side forever, to make you happy and to lift your spirits when darkness has overcome your days, to comfort you when the hard times get to you, and to give you all of the love and attention you deserve. Now, as your boyfriend, I have tried to expose you to the best moments of sharing my life with you, and although we have had times when the path was rockier than usual, I am now ready to devote my life to you. So Felix, my life, my love, my passion, my night and day, my everything,"

Felix's eyes widened more and more as Hyunjin slowly opened the small box, revealing the silver ring that had been kept inside of it.

"Will you marry me?"

Felix's eyes felt tears as he felt time stop. He gazed into his boyfriend's eyes. Remembered the tough times they went through, remembered the fun times they went though, remembered the loving times they went through.

Time resumed again as he covered his face with his hands and threw himself into his man's arms and enveloped his lips in a deep, loving kiss.

"Yes! I love you, Hyunjin!"

Small fireworks shot out of the car as Ni-Ki and Jungwon wooed at the sight.

"Hey, do you think that'll be us one day?" the younger asked Jungwon.

"Only time will tell, Riki." the smaller placed a gentle kiss on the blonde's forehead. "Now, it's your brother's time to shine."
