The area in front of Chiyo stretched and changed until she was in a room. A large oval table stood in the middle with many different people in front of it. "I cannot let you serve in the war!" said a woman. She looked like the younger version of Arwynn, her fury was sent to the white haired man across the room from her. "Mom, if we want the prophecy to work, she needs to live without me." said the man, "Ishton, she's your daughter, she needs you in her life!" Arwynn said "Look we all know that we need the prophecy to work, but if she lives with her biological dad, then she may not need to understand the workings of magic." Another man said, "But the prophecy said that she needs to discover it for herself." Said another man.

"Will all of you shut up. As president of this board, I make the final decisions, and in the name of the prophecy she will live without her father." said the man. The room immediately erupted in mixed signals, people being against, and people being for. "The prophecy never said anything about her father never being in the picture!" Arwynn yelled as she was pulled away.

The image changed again and she was in Arwynns house, in front of her was Ishton, and Arwynn. "Do you know what you've done, Ishton, your daughter is going to have to live without you." She said "Even though she's going to have to live without me, it was the board's decision." Ishtion said, sadly. He looked in the area where Chiyo stood before walking over to her before stopping and turning around to face Arwynn "If we're going to keep her mothers Japanese heritage, we need to name her with a traditional Japanese name." he said "You will have to talk about it to your wife." Arwynn said "I know, but I have to serve in the war, but I have to because I need to protect my people." Ishton said, his words seemed filled with power and protection.

The image once again changed, and there she stood in front of her mother, everything now made sense, why her mother thought that her white hair was a 'curse', why Chiyo had so much expectations of her. Picking up everything moving when her 'father' died because of people looking for the 'chosen one', made sense. And her 'father' wasn't even her biological father.

Chiyo then saw her father walk in the room "i have to leave." he said "but our child is about to be born Ishton, don't you want to see her?" her mother asked "Emiko, I understand, but I have to serve in the war, for my people." Ishton said. "Ishton, don't walk out on me, I will never find anyone who is like you!" she pleaded. The scene made Chiyo's heart ache, the pain her mother had to go through was unbearable.

Once again the scene changed, and Chiyo was in front of herself, it was a much younger version of herself but it was her. This scene felt silenced, as she saw her mom enter the room with a tear stained face, Chiyo knew what this was about, the man that she had called 'dad' for most of her life had died. Seeing her reaction from the 3rd person felt odd. As her mother wrapped her younger self up in her arms, her mother looked up in her direction, mouthing some kind of words that she didn't catch.

When she was whisked back to the present, in front of her was Arwynn, but behind her she could have sworn she had seen Ishton standing mouthing the same thing her mother did. Trying to get up from her spot on the floor, she fell back only to be caught by Astoria and sat back down. Now she heard the words repeating in her head, help me over and over. Then everything went black
