Hysteria

Chapter 13 : The Attack

A loud clang from outside sounded, both Anthony and Tallheart turned to the sound, then both turned to each other. "Anthony, I want you to get both Chiyo and Ishton out of here as fast as you can." Tallheart said, in a hushed tone. Anthony nodded his head, then knocked on the door hearing the familiar voice of Chiyo.

"What do you want Anthony?" she asked, she sounded like she was right next to the door, then Anthony spoke "Were being attacked." he said trying to keep his voice from shaking. Chiyo opened the door "What!" she said, her face was red, and her eyes were swollen. "Well let's go get him." she said taking his hand, Yuki flew to her shoulder perching.

When the both of them made it to Ishtons room, a large hole had been put through the door, splinters of wood were scattered throughout the room, "Where did he..." Anthony stopped when he suddenly felt like he was being watched. He turned his head seeing a figure in shining silver armor. The figure's face was covered by a mask.

Chiyo hadn't noticed the figure watching her, Anthony's eyes narrowed and he shifted on his feet, the figure moved their head, staring at Chiyo. "Chiyo got behind me." Anthony hissed, Chyio looked at him, then realized the figure that was watching the both of them. "Anthony, what are you gonna do?" she asked. Anthony said nothing, but raised his hand, and green ribbons of magic flowed from them.

She watched in awe as Anthony used the ribbons of magic to cause the person to look around in confusion. Anthony took her wrist and exited the room. The hallways had been in shambles as they tried to get out of the building, walls were covered in holes, and a fire had erupted in the council room. The worst of it was probably Chiyo's room, the bed frame had been split and the pillows opened with the feathers sprawled across the room.

"We need to get out of here." Anthony said as Chiyo gathered a couple things she had brought. Anthony opened the window to the outside of her room, the drop was slightly large, enough to hurt ankles, but not enough to break any bones. "I'll go first." Anthony said look at her as he stood on the ledge of the window looking at the drop.

Both of his hands held the window frame as he let go, he leaned out and fell, Chiyo watched as a burst of magic came from him, and he was safely on the ground again. Chiyo backed away from the ledge, muttering to herself before asking the question that was burning on her tongue, "You are gonna catch me right?" she asked.

She heard Anthony sigh, "Yeah of course, why would I not?" he questioned, "Well you've bullied me since i've been in highschool." she said, "I will catch you, just because i bully you doesn't mean i want you dead, or injured." he said, holding his arms out in order to catch her.

Chiyo took a deep breath, then jumped.
