"How did you find this out?" Chiyo hissed, "So it's true." Anthony said with awe. "Who told you?" Chiyo said, "It was a rumor, and someone had seen you in that forest and then disappeared." Anthony said. "What do you want, to keep quiet?" She said, "Nothing, I just want to know what happened. The truth." he said "The truth?" she said with a question.
"Yes, no lies." he said, "I don't think so, you're not acting like yourself." she said, "i just want to know." he said as she got up. "I'm not going to tell you, because since I've moved here you've always just pointed out every mistake I make." she said walking out of the cafe.
. . .
Walking on her own to her house at a late time of the hour, with everything that had happened the couple days. Her senses were heightened with the following of Anthony, and noticing that more and more magical creatures were starting to show up in the randomest places. Chiyo knew that something was going to happen, the question was, when.
When Chiyo made it to her front door step, someone was already waiting for her. "What do you want Anthony?" she asked, pulling her keys from her bag. "I was just wondering where you lived." he replied, in a totally not psycho killer sense. Her fingers wrapped around the small bottle of pepper spray on her keychain. Anthony saw the movement and narrowed his eyes slowly, taking her wrist in her hand, knocking the pepper spray from her hand and taking her to the forest.
Yeah totally not a killer. She thought to herself. Her train of thought stopped when he brought her back to the shrine. "This is how you traveled to the other world?" he asked. Chiyo stared at the carving of the stag that was at the top, "what are you looking at?" he asked, following her gaze to the carving. "I don't know what you're looking at, there's nothing there." he said "you're creeping me out." he continued."
"I'm scaring you?!" Chiyo said, enraged. "You're the one who keeps following me." she said, Anthony's eyes widened, "I'm just trying to-" Chiyo cut him off, "don't even finish that sentence, you're scaring me." she said. A sound in the forest made Chiyo look in the direction of the sound, her eyes widening at the person who emerged from the forest.
"Well if this isn't a reunion." she said, "Astoria, what are you doing here?" Chiyo asked. "You opened the portal, you've been wondering why there's a bunch of magical creatures appearing randomly?" she said while pointing at Chiyo. "If you're here to tell me to fulfill the prophecy, it's not going to work." Chiyo said, "not just that, Elowen wants you to live with her to train with her." Astoria said. "I'm sorry, I'd prefer to live with my mom." Chiyo said, "But-"
"Can't you hear her, she doesn't want to go with you!" Anthony said butting into the conversation. "I'm sorry?" Astoria asked, "you heard me." he said, stepping forward.
