It had been a few days since you had radioed Will with El and the gang's help.
And you and Joyce had invited all of them over again.
You both needed to know more in order to get to Will and save him once and for all.
You sit at Joyce's dinner table, El opposite you with Mike to her right and Lucas to your left along with Dustin standing at the corner of the table while Joyce sits at it's end.
"El", you begin, "How do we find this upside down of yours?".
She quickly responds, "Lab. The lab.".
"Lab? What lab?" you ask.
"Is it the Hawkins National Laboratory?" asks Joyce.
El nods, "Lab. Papa is there. Get past Papa, get Will.".
"Who is Papa?" you inquire, leaning towards her.
"Papa. My Papa. Dr.Brenner. He's at lab." she replies.
Mike says, "El thinks there are bad men after her. She escaped from the lab and now 'Papa' and his army of men are hunting her down. She says deep inside of the lab there's a portal between our world and the upside down. Make it there, make it to Will.".
Joyce nods, "We have to find a way in. El, sweetheart, do you know how we can get to this portal?".
"Mmhm, go to the lab. Take me with you. And bring guns. Kill bad men. Downstairs portal, get Will, get back home." she replies.
Joyce looks at you.
"Sweetie, we can't just put you in danger like that! You're just a little girl." she says.
All three of the boys look at one another before Dustin tells Joyce, "She's not just a little girl. She can do things. You saw her do that crazy shi- stuff... with the radio but she can do so much more. She can kill people with her mind. She literally threw a whole van over our heads and made it explode!".
Lucas and Mike nod.
Joyce meets your eyes again.
"Do you know Jim Hopper?" she asks.
"Uhm, yeah. He's the chief of police down at the station." you reply.
"We need him here. He's been helping me for a while ever since the day Will...disappeared and he knows me. He has guns. He knows what he's doing. We need him. Bring him here, we can break into the lab, we can get Will." she says.
You think for a moment.
"If you really want him here, I can make that happen. Just make sure you have a plan, alright?".
She nods, "I do. Meet me, El and Hopper at the lab at midnight tonight.".
"I'll be there.".
