after the weekend was over, exams began. we took the written exams for the first three days, which i'd already known that i would have no real issues with. i would only experience burnout by the end of it.
as soon as aizawa sensei told us the time was up for our last written exam, i heaved a sigh of relief and leaned back in my seat. my cousin groaned loudly, letting his head fall on his desk. we collected the exams and i turned around to talk to my cousin.
"how were the exams? i know written stuff isn't your forte," i ask him, watching him lean back in his seat and cross his arms over his chest.
"at least i finished all the questions. didn't leave anything blank." i nodded, yawning from how mentally drained i now felt. i wish they would space these exams out more.
the next day was our practical exam. we all dressed in our hero uniforms. i've been recently working on some improvements both aesthetically and practically. some of my new fighting styles seemed to need something more.
today, however, since it was pretty hot, i had taken off my cardigan which exposed my arms more than usual. it seemed as if my classmates were flocking around me and taking notice.
"hana! i never knew you had muscles behind that sweater you always wear!" eijirou said, eyes shining. "so manly!"
"ah, i've been working out with katsuki lately," i say in reply quite flatly, showing my muscles off more. i guess it was nice to be complimented about my physique. "he does some pretty harsh training..."
"you look super strong! maybe i should start hitting the gym more..." mina had told me and i smiled at her.
"maybe we could go together sometime," i suggested as aizawa sensei began to talk. we had more than just aizawa sensei though, many more teachers were there as well.
"now, we will begin the practical exam." i yawned as he continued talking. i didn't get much sleep last night since katsuki and i had spent the night doing last-minute preparations for today. at least i had a good breakfast. katsuki is more studious than i thought...
