lunchtime! my first day of ua was certainly eventful. we met aizawa sensei as he came into the class through a yellow sleeping bag that kind of made him look like a caterpillar. after that, he had us quickly put on our gym clothes and show off our quirks through a series of tests. i did average, i think.

i was happy that the whole mess was over and done with so that i could relax a little. i had found a beautiful tree in the courtyard that seemed charming and peaceful compared to the turbulent mess hall of the school.

as i opened my bento, i unlocked my phone and pressed my photo app. i took a ton of pictures today while people were doing their tests. most of them consisted of running and ball throwing tests. the other ones were too boring to include

i have yet to know the names of some of my classmates, but a few were recognizable.

katsuki bakugou, also known as kachaan by izuku mirdoriya, or deku. i assume they were childhood friends. aizawa sensei got annoyed at those two today.

i had pictures of them throwing the ball up in the air. i was pretty impressed, but midoriya had broken his finger from throwing it. it looked like he couldn't control his quirk

humming, i pick up some noodles and stuff them into my mouth. i guess i should have asked for their permission before i took pictures of them. i'll ask them when class begins, so i don't have them thinking that i'm some stalker.

i quickly posted a video on my own account i had of when i went to the arcade with rikido. he complained that i should have paid more attention to the games instead of taking pictures of the machines. i couldn't just ignore the aesthetic

as i continued eating and filing through the photos, i felt eyes on me. i look up in confusion, looking around to see no one. i shrugged it off and finished up my food. as soon as i did, i went to throw away my trash and head back to my classroom.

the feeling of being watched followed me, and i tried not to pay too much attention to it. when i looked at the time on my phone, i saw that it was about five minutes until class started again. so when i walked into the class, all of my classmates were already there and chatting with each other.

i sighed before going up to the front of the classroom and clearing my throat. here we go. nervousness settled in and everyone turned their head to me. i waved lightly.

"hello. i would like to ask if you all are okay with me taking pictures of you. i promise it isn't anything weird, i'm just a photographer and you are all great subjects for my instagram page." they all looked at me, probably shocked at my words. i sighed. "i already took some pictures during the tests, and would like to share them with you all and see if you like them."

that seemed to get their attention, as most of the girls rushed over to me as well as the short purple-headed one and the blonde boy who looked like he was constantly winking.

"i hope you got my good side!"

"did you get a picture of my infinity throw?"

"did you get the pictures of the girls?!"

"i must have looked cool going through the long jump ~"

i giggled lightly before bringing out my phone. as they all crowded around me i showed them the pictures of themselves. they all gawked at the pictures, commenting on how cool they all looked. i smiled, proud of my work.

i caught their attention once again, looking out to the rest of my classmates. "if you have any problem with me posting pictures of you or taking them, please tell me! thank you!"

they all nodded to me and responded as i went to my seat. i was sat in front of my cousin and he looked at me with a smile. i quirked my eyebrow, questioning him. "what?"

he gave me a bigger smile to which i glared. "come on."

"okay, okay! you told me so, whatever." i huff. he laughs and pats my back before leaning into his seat.

"oh, i saw some people watching you from the cafeteria during lunch. they're calling you sakura girl." i sigh and shake my head. that must have been what i felt as i was eating

"sakura girl? wow, so original." i joke, craning my head a bit to look at riki. he chuckles at my sarcasm.

"you're gaining a lot of attention already, hana." i shook my head. "not like you want it."

"i just wanted a peaceful lunch and instead some people just have to creepily watch me."

"well, you did also take pictures of our classmates without their permission."

"and i smoothed it over! i bet you no one would even come up to me to talk to me or apologize for being creeps."

"they didn't know that you knew."

"they're about to know tomorrow when i find one and stare directly into their eyes."

"aish, you're too nervous about doing that. you wouldn't be able to hold the eye contact." i pout and slap rikido's arm. he chuckles. of course he wouldn't feel that soft slap

"you're so mean! why can't you be confident in my abilities?"

"hana, i have known you for practically our entire lives. you couldn't even look up at my dad when we were little 'cause you thought he was scary."

"he was scary! until i found out that he was a huge softie."

"exactly. look, aizawa is back."

"you're still a huge meanie."

"and you're a huge scaredy-cat." i blow a raspberry to him before looking up to the front, seeing everyone else seated and sensei aizawa looking at us all tiredly.

"i should get paid more to babysit you kids, i swear."
